Kazakhstan (Kazakh: Қазақстан, translit. Qazaqstan, IPA: [qɑzɑqˈstɑn] ( listen); Russian: Казахстан, IPA: [kəzɐxˈstan]), officially the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakh: Қазақстан Республикасы, translit. Qazaqstan Respýblıkasy; Russian: Республика Казахстан, tr. Respublika Kazakhstan), is the world's largest landlocked country, and the ninth largest in the world, with an area of 2,724,900 square kilometres (1,052,100 sq mi). Kazakhstan is the dominant nation of Central Asia economically, generating 60% of the region's GDP, primarily through its oil/gas industry. It also has vast mineral resources. Some argue that Kazakhstan may be considered a European country because Kazakhstan's Western region is on the European continent and meets the Council of Europe's criteria for European inclusion.

This company is a fraudulent company and they are cheating the customers. I was promised a full refund after cancelling my bookings due to covid. They did not even make a single booking for me, just cancelled after discussing. I have been promised a refund after a few months and now they are blatantly refusing to honour their promise. Trip advisor should provide a reprive and file a criminal complaint against this company.

4. 5 days tour from Tashkent to Almaty in Southern Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan Il'yas Otan

Shymkent is situated on a junction connecting Tashkent with Kazakhstan. Southern Kazakhstan’s Sufi heritage consists of the mausoleum of Yasawi towering out above Turkistan. Numerous other Sufi mausoleums dot the desert. Visit is not completed without seeing the ruins of Otrar and Sauran. Taraz and Zhambyl (Jambyl) oblast, medieval mausoleums, and parks sheltering tulips, birds, mountains and nomads hunting with Eagles in nearby town of Merki (Merke). Kazakhstan is a country the size of Europe - mountain and steppe, barely touched by modern civilization and whose inhabitants are mostly farmers. Its falconers continue the Central Asian tradition of flying golden eagles at hare for food and at fox for furs. During the Soviet period, many Kazakhs fled to Mongolia, bringing with them their tradition of hunting with eagles. Although, the Kazakh government has made efforts to lure the practitioners of these Kazakh traditions back to Kazakhstan, most Kazakhs have remained in Mongolia.

The palace is nicely maintained but a little underwhelming. As long as you are walking the old city it’s not the worst idea to take a look but keep your expectations in check.

This tour was great! Chingiz and Askhat arranged for to take our whole family (6 adults and 2 kids) up to big Almaty Lake and to the falcon show. We also stopped for lunch on the trip up to the Lake. The location they selected was fantastic! Great food and wonderful conversation. Both our tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the trip. The falcon show was wonderful and Chingiz made sure we all sat in the best spot in the bleachers, The grandkids loved the falcon show. 9. 1 DAY TOUR Castle of Nomad's and Bes shatyr burial mounds

Explore Kazakhstan

Unique Historical tour to feel real nomadic and medieval atmosphere of ancient Kazakh people. Bes Shatyr is located 195km to the north from Almaty. Translated as “five hills” from Kazak, it looks like ancient necropolis and remains the main ethnographic and archaeological site of Altyn Emel National Park. A huge valley on the north bank of Ili river is used for the thousands of years by different generations of nomads: being a sacred place for ancient people (here they put their dolmens), Bes Shatyr had been also chosen as a burial site by Saki (Scythe) tribes.
