Located outside the walls of Jerusalem, this beautiful garden among a grove of olive trees is thought to be the place where Jesus particularly enjoyed prayer and contemplation.

Nice and small garden with lots of old olive trees and a large number of flowers. In the garden there are olive trees that are old and after 2000 years.

A beautiful and high place that extends from Benjerion Street in Haifa until it slopes upward to the Carmel Mountains, a place with very beautiful flowers and it is very clean and you feel comfortable inside, and it is considered a religious shrine for the Baha'i religion, which is one of the monotheistic religions and the founder of this religion, Hussein Al-Nuri from Iran, and it is located inside the garden The seat of the House of Justice of the Baha'i Faith

Givatayim Observatory and Garden

The Givatayim Observatory is the oldest observatory in Israel, and serves as the main base for amateur astronomers in Israel. The observatory holds a weekly public tour every Thursday at 19:30. The tour includes a basic lecture, an observation through our telescopes, and a planetarium show. These tours are guided in Hebrew, but events in English are also available for groups (contact our office for more information).

plenty of benches to sit on. a fantastic walk with many types of roses to see and smell very easy to park and one of the few places to take a very long interesting walk. also fine if you want to make a barbecue....but ask first

Jerusalem Botanical Gardens

The Jerusalem Botanical Gardens is a gem in the heart of Jerusalem. It serves as an education, learning and research center, holds a diverse collection of plants from around the world which are displayed geographically and is a destination for tourism, recreation and cultural events. At around 30 acres, the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens is the largest in Israel. There are over 6,000 species and varieties of plants from around the world – Israel’s largest collection of live plants – displayed in 6 phyto-geographical sections – Southern Africa, Europe, North America, Australia, South-East and Central Asia and the Mediterranean. The sections simulate the landscapes of these areas and so there is always something blooming at the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens.

we visited the botanical gardens, and we had a blast! the gardens are stunning including a gorgeous tropical greenhouse. to walk around a wild and beautiful garden and to be surrounded by thousands of different species from all over the world, was mind blowing. at the end we had a picnic on a beautiful peaceful lawn. if you are in Israel, it is a must.
