No visit to the city is complete with out a visit to 'Downes'. In a age of gastro pubs and trendy distressed bars with quaint Irishness Downes offers a great pint in a friendly atmosphere where everyone will have a chat and you become unaware of the outside world in minutes. They even blend their own whiskey 'No.9' which is reason enough for a visit
