Things to do in Hordaland, Western Norway: The Best Nature & Wildlife Tours

July 31, 2021 Kelli Reichel

Lying at the heart of Norway’s Western Fjord area, Hordaland is home to culturally rich Bergen, the country’s second largest city. Hardangerfjord, Norway’s second-longest fjord (and the third-longest in the world), is here too, and cruising along its scenic 110 miles is a top area activity. Leirvik, the second-biggest town in Hordaland, has the interesting open-air Sunnhordland Folk Museum. Set atop one of the country’s biggest glaciers, Folgefonna National Park has a popular summer ski center.

Trolltunga Adventures

Guided overnight hike to Trolltunga with tasty hot meals, and all the equipment for camping included in the price. We walk the less crowded route, away from the main trail with authentic Norwegian mountain culture in focus. The trip is surrounded by the beautiful nature Norwegian mountains provide. The hike itself is just as important for us as the visit to the famous cliff. We do small detours to hidden gems and beautiful spots most hikers walk by. We have camp with great scenery of the Ringedalsvalley & lake, not far from Trolltunga and you have the chance to enjoy Trolltunga when most people have returned back to civilization, during sunset & sunrise. We guarantee an adventure of lifetime. We offer the popular 2-day Trolltunga Classic Trek, The 2-day Long March Trek, Wilderness Feeling Trek or you can customize your own private high-end trek. We have a special deal with Trolltunga Road Bus so transportation up to the starting point of the trek is all included in the price.
