The whole tour is very disappointing. An expensive bad joke.We waited 45 minutes for the driver to pick us up from the hotel. The helmets are dirty, one sized. Anyway, no need to use them because you go in a line with other 35 vehicles (buggies) very slow with several stops because in every 200m min. 1 vehicle has a technical problem. You can’t see anything because of the dust cloud (they don’t let you to keep distance). At Macao beach they lead you to a bar and say “you have 10 minutes, have a drink, wine, beer or water”. After you take your drinks and sit down, they come to you and ask to pay the drinks ( the ticket seller told us everything is included in the price). For 1 bear and a glass of wine they charge you with 15$! So after you pay, you will have exactly 6 minutes to admire the Macao beach! After that, you go ( in line as goodes) to the “chocolate and coffee fabric “ with is nothing else than a bar, you get a shot of coffee or cacao with milk. And then the last stop. The cave. They let all the 80 people from the 35 buggies into that tiny space, beside of other tourist. You can’t see anything, you can not get into the water because is full of people. This is absolutely unacceptable especially in corona times. At each stop people want to sell something to you. At the end, when you would like to go back as soon as possible to the resort and enjoy your stay, you have to wait cuz they try to sell you suvernirs, go pro video, photos. It’s not an adventure, is not authentic, it is not “all included”. You better take a taxi ( it is very close to Punta Cana) or a bicycle. The buggies are anyway in very bad conditions. The whole tour is about fooling the tourists.

The reason i didn't rated this trip with five stars but with four was the tips hunting, especially in the horse riding. To begin with the excursion, it was really organised and we saw so many nice landscapes in one day. It was by far the best trip (even though they informed us for our pick-up time at 22:00 the previous night and after several efforts to contact them). About the tips, we were really pissed off with our tour guide handling. We did the horse riding (included in our trip) and we were forced to give 25 euros to each one (two horses, two guides). The guys there were really nice (even though money hunters) but we didn't have money with us, only card. We talked to our tour guide to stop in a bank (following the idea of the locals, they even wanted to drops us in a bank with a moto) and pull out some cash. We gave him 1.000 pesos to give them but he told to my wife to give him 1.200 pesos (because he said that 20 euros is 1.200 pesos). Very bad experience and unprofessional handling of him. They should include people's fees in the tickets, otherwise they should let us give whatever we want and we can.

Before you go to any excursion in Punta Cana or Bahayibe check if your agency works with this boat company COSTA ROMÂNTICA (romantic coast). For me and my friends was NIGHTMARE COST, the worse excursion I have ever done in my life. In 12 hours we only spent around 2 in the island. The boat was very slow and the staff incredibly nasty and arrogant. The worse was the music, not only bad but extremely loud. Almost everybody was complaining about the absurd loud sound, but the crew was just ignoring. Was almost 3 hours to go and 3 to come back listening a very loud and poor quality sound. Costumer service and satisfaction was TOTALY ignored. It was suppose to be a relaxing Caribbean excursion, but instead was a torture. A boat terrible experience louder than a disco (and I love discos) The food in the island horrible and without higiene. And there is no Corona care at all in that place. So, AVOID any trip with this company, check before what boat company your promoter or agency travel will use and run away if it is this one. I cannot say if all the “Saona excursions” was like these, but we hated. The island is beautiful but not amazing for all this bad experience. If you really wanna visit I totaly recommend renting a private boa and bringing your own food. In the end of the day we spent money, time, patience and were totaly exposed to corona virus risks for a place and experience that was not worth it.

Picked up at port very promptly and greeted by driver holding sign with our name on it. Mix up about whether I had paid for one buggy or two was solved by them just taking my word that I had booked two. Buggies could have used a good cleaning. Tour guide was wonderful. The stops we made were wonderful: giving children cookies, touring a cave and the beach. While it didn’t last 4 hours, more like 2.5, it was still a great tour.
