Musee d'Histoire Naturelle de Lille

The natural history museum of Lille has been open for more than 150 years. Located since the beginning of the 20th century at number 19, rue de Bruxelles, in the historical university district, it is today the only natural history museum of the whole Nord - Pas de Calais region.

This natural history museum houses many animals and birds from all over the world. It is easy to get around the interior and can be managed within an hour. The information and displays are excellent

Maison de la Baie de Somme

The House of the Somme Bay is a museum that presents the evolution of the Bay of 2 millennia and the various challenges it faces ( siltation , erosion) . You will also discover all the natural environments of the Picardy coast and birds that live there in striking reproduction of realism. One room is dedicated to the presence of seals in the bay . Finally, an external path allows you to better understand the wetlands. On site picnic area , local shop , observation post , coffee machine .

A gem of a place for people interested in wildlife. Excellent exhibits of all kinds of birds that frequent the area at different times of the year and in its diverse habitats. Also provide details of the history of the bay and its human inhabitants.

Installée dans une ancienne usine de lampes de mineurs, réhabilitée par l’architecte Jean Nouvel, Cité Nature est un centre culturel et scientifique consacré aux questions que l’on se pose sur la nourriture et l’agriculture, la nature et la santé. On y trouve des expositions scientifiques et artistiques ainsi que des jardins thématiques. Des évènements et des spectacles y sont régulièrement organisés.
