Harrogate is also known as "The English Spa." For centuries, visitors have flocked to the mineral hot springs. Today, those springs still soothe the body while the placid RHS Harlow Carr Gardens and Yorkshire Dales national park stimulate the soul. Tea rooms, architecture, and art galleries are the main pastimes in this pleasant town. With four rail stations for easy transport, travelers can board trains running between Harrogate and York, Leeds, Knaresborough, and London.

Visit the only Grade 1 listed building in the heart of Harrogate. Saint Wilfrid's church was designed by the famous architect Temple Moore in the early 1900's. The church is very striking architecturally, with some excellent examples of stained glass, a stunning parish hall with an unusual "lamella" ceiling, cloisters and free car parking. St Wilfrid's is open every day for visits and services.

Starting at the top I love visiting Saeid at Iconic Vape. He has a very trendy vape shop and takes such good care of his customers. Whenever I visit Commercial Street I HAVE to go to Tarbetts to get anchovies and olives for the boyfriend???? The serve again is impeccable and always served with a smile. Finally I always have a look in Crown Jewellers window. They have amazing and beautiful stock and most of the time treat myself to a new pair of earrings. Sue and Steve are kind, passionate about what they do and are very attentive with every customer. This is an amazing family run business and this reflects in the service you receive. This street has so much more to offer and are all independent businesses. From a coffee shop to a cheese shop and a fishmongers to barbers. Defo worth the visit!
