Mt. Kasayama

Reviewed By BZimm08 - Iwakuni, Japan

Right outside of Hagi, is Mt. Kasayama and the peninsula it is on. I recommend planning a few hours in this area as there is the volcanic crater, hiking trails, beaches, etc. There is a parking lot right near the crater, you can hike down inside as well, not a whole lot to see, but still worth it. There is an observation deck here as well with a fantastic 360 view of the area, the Sea views are beautiful. After visiting Mt Kasayama, I recommend walking through the Camellia Groves before heading back to Hagi.
