Zevallos Colonial Estate

A great cultural and historical guided tour with local passionate guides. A place to discover the history of the island. The english speaking tour has to be booked a few days before.

Fort Delgres

Reviewed By JLicharson - Kingston, Canada

I give this five stars because it is an interesting historical site, because it is so well maintained and organized and because the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Signage is in English and French and informative. Nice views from the ramparts. Roughly comparable to the Louisbourg, Fort Henry and Fort Selkirk sites in Canada, but perhaps not so well curated or commercialized. And not crowded at all. We were the only folk there at about 13:30 on a Sunday. A few others were arriving when we left. Bathroom facilities were clean. Worth a stop, certainly, if you have any interest in history pr simply quite grand sites or vistas. Plan for an hour stop for a good look through, more if you are inquisitive or have kids who might need a good romp. Lots of room here.
