Spa De Sal

Suitable for children and adults alike, salt therapy can help alleviate respiratory problems, skin conditions and allergies including asthma, bronchitis, eczema, psoriasis and hay fever. The healing properties of salt can help clear lungs of toxins and mucus, improve oxygen levels, strengthen the immune system, improve skin conditions, enhance muscle performance and reduce symptoms of allergies. Relax for an hour, in a climate controlled salt room, and breath in salt infused air. Great alternative to breathing in sea air. Alleviate respiratory symptoms caused by pollution. Prepare your lungs for the winter by cleansing them of excess mucus. Build your immune system to fight air-borne bugs and thus reduce your need for antibiotics. Athletes can use salt therapy as a drug-free enhancement to improve lung capacity and help repair muscles quickly after an event. Singers can use salt therapy to repair vocal cords after a performance.

I've been a regular customer to Spa de Sal and it's a real gem in this part of London. The sessions helped me recover from breathing difficulties I had last year after being heavily sick and also boosted my immunity and overall health and sport performance. I was so happy when the spa opened after the lockdown as this is exactly what my lungs needed! The social distancing and health and safety measures taken by the owner were absolutely spotless and made me and my family feel safe and confident that we can enjoy the best of what the salt therapy can offer without worrying about all the worse that covid had brought to everyone's lives. Since my first session last year I felt a valued customer and it's thanks to the owner Matilda who is always there for her customers. She's very welcoming and I enjoyed every session followed by a lovely cup of herbal tea (a ritual which Matilda kept despite the social distancing measures which is now served in take away cups). This spa is also suitable for families with young kids as there's a family salt therapy room with adjusted intensity. In fact my first time at the spa de sal was also the first time for me to have a relaxing day out after becoming a mom and the fact I could bring my child with me made my day. It's so hard these days to find a relaxing activity that can be enjoyed by both parent and child while also having all the benefits such therapy can offer. And finding someone to look after the child so that the parent can have the "me" time is not always as easy so knowing there's a place the whole family can enjoy feels amazing. I'm looking forward to my next session and I hope the benefits of the salt therapy will now become recognised more than ever before.
