Things to do in Galway, Western Ireland: The Best Game & Entertainment Centers

June 25, 2021 Alida England

For visitors, the best thing about Galway is that you can walk everywhere. As soon as you arrive, enjoy a walk through the city streets. There, you'll find lively pubs, independent shops and winding cobblestone streets packed with students, artists, writers and craftspeople. You may even hear Gaelic spoken. For a day trip, take a ferry to the island of Inis Mor. You'll return refreshed by the ocean air and Inis Mor's breathtaking scenery. Oh, and be sure to wear sunscreen on the island, no matter how chilly it is. (Just trust us, okay?)

We cater for ages 10 and over (no upper age limit), so if you think you can… then do! Customers can choose from a range of exciting and fun activities in a healthy and safe environment, from our “Battlefield” sports such as Laser Tag and Paintball, where teams could be capturing and holding an objective, storming a base or escorting a V.I.P. to an extraction zone, to our more relaxed field sports such as Archery, Disc Golf and Orienteering where both individual and team stamina, skill and intelligence is tested to the maximum. We are a wholly Irish owned and operated outdoor activities provider. Our instructors are from, or live in The Gaeltacht area of Conamara and our activities are conducted in both Irish and English.

Thanks to all the team at Eile Mental for a fantastic experience. It was really well set up and organised and in a cool location. We were a large group for a hen party (guys and girls) and everyone had great craic dressed in combat gear. The shooting and archery were brilliant and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks again, we will definitely be back!

Sean showed us (a stag party from the US) a great time and I definitely recommend Tom O’ Hawks as a stag activity or just to visit for some great fun! Worth the ride from Galway city! Sean was super hospitable once the event ended and deserves all of the glowing reviews on this website!

It's a great golf range to work on any aspects of your golf swing. The working staff and owner are just great. I'd highly recommend using the uncovered driving bays as they give a really good feedback to ball flight and trajectory. Expect the numbers visiting to increase since Glenlo Abbey golf range have introduced a mind numbing €150 membership to use the range. Well done Cregboy Golf Academy for not going down this road. The evenings can get busy which is always a good reflection on the business.
