We have travelled Japan extensively and one of the most beautiful is a term I seldom use. It is also hard to express what makes this temple so worthwhile as the building is nothing out of the ordinary. It is the setting with a beautiful peaceful garden and its walking paths that make it jump out. In addition this region does not see many western tourists, which adds to the experience.
