These falls are located by the Calotte Route (Kalottireitti) in Kasivarsi region. With the 17 meter drop, Pihtsuskongas is one of the largest waterfalls in Finland. The falls are located 45 km from the village of Kilpisjarvi and you can reach them by skiing or hiking.

Definetely worth a visit. Beautiful and powerful waterfall with lots of history. One can spend the whole day strolling along the banks and admiring either the power of the water or the rock formations. Walk all the around Kruunuvuorenpuisto and carry coffe ein thermos to enjoy at the end.

Amazing waterfall just on the outskirts of Klaukkala. Waterfall is big in Finnish scale and there was also lot of water flowing through in June. You can reach fall from south by passing Klaukkala village and then turning left to Valkjärventie. Fall is just after cross on the left side there you can see the old bridge. You can park on the right side along the Sahamäentie. You can hike short walk through rocky and meadowed landscape on the both sides of the fall. Terrain is partly rough to walk. View is fantastic and you can reach the water at the lower levels. There was many butterflies and some uncommon plants. Some parts were full of nettles just to watch out your legs. This is an amazing waterfall in Uusimaa region. We saw couple of other people but place has peaceful countryside mood. This is absolutely worth of short visit if you like unique nature spots so close to urban areas.

There is a lovely nature route that winds through the forests around the waterfall, taking visitors past swamps and blueberry shrubs, the winding river that flows and then opens into rapids by a quaint barbecue area overlooking the waterfall. The Hepoköngäs area has been made as accessible as possible for visitors: the path from the carpark is wide enough for two strollers or wheelchairs to pass each other. The path is smooth gravel, and at some points there are wooden slides that can be used to for access. There are some rises and falls on the path if you want to see the falls also from the bottom. There are accessible toilets by the falls themselves on top of the falls.
