A cabbie told us that this pub has the best Guinness in Ennis. Is this possible? We decided to do some research. Our bar tender at the Diamond explained that they keep the barrel near the tapper. (Although, he was careful not to put down the neighboring pubs.) All this to keep a shorter line for the dark beer to travel and avoid contamination. The place, the bar tender and everything else was charming. The Guinness tasted the same to me but we enjoyed the research.

Overall the best food we had in Ennis during our stay. Everything was amazing, the soup was incredible, the chicken stir fry was the best I ever had, my partner cleaned his plate of chicken pepper sauce. The staff were so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Cocktails were lovely, pints were fantastic. Really couldn't fault anything other than am sorry only got to come here once as would have loved to have tried more dishes

Fancy a guided tour through Ireland's nightlife? Would you like to pour your own pint of Guinness start to finish and then enjoy it fresh with some newly made friends? And just maybe, would you like a few tid-bits of info about the town you're in while you relax in the company of your local guide. Well, that's what we do, Fridays and Sundays from 8pm!
