Definitely a must to visit, it was really beautiful with lots of places to sit around the lake. The water is clear and the national park is very clean. Take a bike ride around the lakes or hire a canoe, we did both

Beautiful park on the island Dugi otok. Nice for a day trip, clear waters, an easy 5 min hike to the outside with a stunning view of the cliffs. We came early and were there before the crouds.

Paklenica National Park

Paklenica is a beautiful area. The park entrance is 1 km from Starigrad-Paklenica the seaside town. Plenty of camping places. Walk through the canyon, watch rock climbers, visit the cave tunnel aka Bunker to get a refreshing drink and free movie (in English and Croatian) about the park. Nice way to beat the heat. Keep hiking to Paklenica Mountain Hut where a cold beverage costs 20 kuna and a room is 90 kuna. But my favorite place is ran by Marijo just a 10 min hike up the trail to Ramica Dvori. His personality will capture you! Check out his family’s ancient home built into rocks-450 years ago. Stay at his lodge and eat from his black kitchen. Best shower on the mountain!

Krka National Park

Reviewed By dee_lw_36 - Manchester, United Kingdom

With barely another soul in sight, I highly recommend visiting Krka out of season. We had the waterfalls to ourselves, free to take our time taking it all in. Love how they have constructed the walkways above and through the falls. The staff were very helpful too, gave us some great tips about the best viewpoint for the Roski slap by climbing the stairs to the cave. Also for a fraction of the price of summer!
