Roanhead Beach

We visited yesterday afternoon and was surprised to see a cover over the pay and display car park so as many others did we took advantage of the free parking. Just through the car park are a couple of boardwalks which take you directly on to the beach. It was lovely, litter free, lots of wide open space.

Silecroft Beach

Benefiting from hot sunny weather the beach has a good cafe, sizeable car park, public toilets and a large beach. The top part is stoney but the lower half is beautiful sand. If you swim when the sea is above the sand it is delightful.
