Well where do I start! Lynne the owner of the Bookshop is so friendly and helpful with great local knowledge and is happy to recommend different companies for various tours and is very happy to sort out a bargain for you amongst her wide range of stationery and New and Used Books. On our recent Holiday we visited the shop twice at the start and end of our Holiday and I’d recommend paying Lynne a visit even if Books aren’t your thing. On a side note Lynne’s beautiful dog Pepper will also give you a warm welcome and a friendly lick. This place was undoubtedly one of the memorable experiences of our Holiday.

Visited this lovely family-owned shop on May 31 during a tour of Crete. It was delightful!! The owners (Filio, Voula, & Maria) were so friendly and they treated the group like personal friends. The presentation given by Filio (the witch) was soooo entertaining and informative. We learned all about age-old soapmaking techniques and how they use gentle, natural products, for all skin types-even for men. And, oh, the smells of natural scents - orange, vanilla, lavender, chamomile, chocolate, to name a few!!! And you have to check out their website!!! Their prices are very reasonable. We all left their with face cream, oil, soap or something in our hands!!! I definitely plan to reorder more products on line when needed. Thank you, Fisika Ladies (and Leo) for making our visit worthwhile. We loved it!! Dazzlindiva

The Bronze - Kelesis Yannis

Our workshop is located in the handicraft, artistic park of Anopolis, in kokkini Hani area to Hersonisos municipality.Since 1964 we manufacture bronze statues and other artifacts, using the method of smelting, by the exact same way that the Minoans were producing their artifacts, which we admire nowadays in museums all over the world. The art of sculpture together with the art of smelting metal are the basic stages of our work. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be guided to all areas of our workshop and of course to our exhibition hall, should you wish to buy your souvenirs or give us any special order! And, if you would like you can create your casting metal statue (casting lessons by us, about 1,5- 2 hour) just for 15 € per person!Free wifi for our visitors! Now, with the license of Cretan Hands (guarantee for best Crete products)! If you don't have a car we can transport you to our workshop and also take you back to your hotel with our mini van with free of charge!
