Immersive escape room experiences in downtown Southington. One hour team based entertainment activity where you and your friends, family and/or coworkers find hidden items and clues to solve puzzles and try to escape from the room. Multiple themes to choose from and a comfortable lounge area to hang out with your group before or after your experience.
My friends and I are escape room junkies at this point after doing them all across Connecticut, in Montreal and Boston, so we've seen a thing or two. This escape room, "The Tomb" absolutely blew us away - the atmosphere was completely awesome and really made the experience. The room was not only extremely well decorated complete with a fog machine for an extra cool effect, the puzzles were fun to solve considering you needed to use the entire room itself to solve most of the puzzles, which is exactly something you would expect from a Mayan-themed escape room. The method of receiving clues was unique by looking at the monitor of some sort of radio device and we didn't need too many hints to complete the room. It was totally interactive and had puzzles that included every single person so not one mind was doing all the work to solve the puzzle, and everyone needed to work together to reach a conclusion. The game master we had, Eric, was an extremely funny and awesome guy who vibed really well with our group and just added on to how amazing our experience was. And for once, our group made it to the awesome colorful, shining glass board. This place is totally worth the drive from anywhere and is a fantastic escape room experience. I look forward to trying out their other rooms!

I took my son there for his 50th birthday along with some of his friends. Everyone had a ball. And if there is a lot of people in your party there are other things to do while you wait. It is a BYOB (bring your own beverage) establishment and you can bring snacks. The owners are great an very helpful. The adjusted my feet an distance and I was able to hit the mark. I can't wait to go back.

We just took our four grandkids ages 9-17 and we all love the ease of fun things to do so close to home. There is something for all ages and the premises are clean and the staff is really kind. You might think they would be burned out doing the same thing hour after hour, but their responses were always friendly and full of grace. Something else surprising was the food. We expected Burger King level but the burgers and fries were good and we had the best patty melt with fried onions on rye - a real winner. The ice cream was nothing exciting and rather mediocre. Another nice thing is the card ticket. You can reload in various places or scan for your remaining balance. They are still requiring masks. Maybe it’s a state mandate thing, but so silly - especially outdoors. We are really grateful to have a well-run place like Sonny’s in our area!

We had a great time with our family (9 of us)! Ria was the instructor and between her sense of humor, her ability to teach and the music she chose, we had a blast. She and her partner made us all feel like we had accomplished something. Price can be a little high but definitely worth it, especially for a special occasion (birthday, out of town guests visiting, date night, friends from work). Highly recommended! Plus, having a bar available was an added bonus!

Experience the World's largest indoor ropes course inside Jordan's Furniture! Channel your inner tightrope walker as you take on the 56-foot tall ropes courses and climb through cargo nets, angled rope ladders and more. Connecting the 2 ropes courses are four of the longest Sky Rail zip lines that were ever made! Prepare to be wowed as you Zip It 180-feet over the Waltzing Water Show and restaurants down below. For those that like an extra daring challenge, participants can choose to exit the course with a free-fall sensation off the Jump It platform at the very top of the building. Other activities include 5 Climb It vertical climbing attractions, and for the youngsters, there is the Little It ropes course for kids under 4-feet tall. This attraction is for the whole family, no experience required! While you're taking it all in be prepared to be blown away by the 1,000 nozzle Liquid Fireworks water fountain that goes to the beat of 41,000 watts of stereo sound and lighting. Your adventure awaits!
Such a random thing to find! You have to walk through an entire furniture store to access this ropes course. Also in the “It” section are a musical water fountain, an ice scream shop and pizza place. My husband and I had a blast. We went before noon and only had to share the course with two other people. There are lots of levels and lots of choices on which obstacles you’d like to complete to get around. Multiple zip lines as well. We chose the line that took us directly over the fountain, so that was a cool view. It’s $25-30/pp, depending on whether you decide to free fall at the top. And it’s for an unlimited time. You can stay up as long as you want, but once you descend (by stair or by fall) you are not allowed back into the course. Free lockers are provided.
