Drove on this fantastic route to & fro between Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales. The road is well maintained and the drive was smooth. The surrounding scenery is absolutely picturesque. Certainly would very highly recommend driving on this route.

Metro Valparaiso

Reviewed By smarten45956 - Incline Village, United States

On our advance research of Valparaiso and Vina del Mar, we never learned of the metro connecting the two cities. But once we arrived and saw it first hand, we asked ourselves why? The ride takes about 15 minutes, let's you off in the middle of Vina del Mar (we exited at Miramar), and it cost less than $2/person, round trip! You need a metro card to use. We asked our hotel and the front desk let us use one of theirs (which we were able to load with pesos for our use). What a quick and easy way to visit the two cities. Heartily recommend.

Metro de Santiago

You have to get a bip! card (1,550 pesos) and round trip fare from city center to Pajaritos station to catch the bus to Valparaiso was only 1,600 pesos. I felt safe and the subway was clean. If i spent more time in Santiago, I would have figured this out more, it was such an affordable way to get around.
