My wife and I visited Thunderhart several times this summer and we always have a wonderful time! Golf - well maintained golf course with terrific views on every hole, challenging and playable for all levels. Good availability of tee times and a great pace of play. Rooms - the rooms are very clean and well maintained with nice views of the Catskill mountains. We enjoyed swimming in the pool after a round of golf. Location - we explored several areas during our visits (Woodstock, Greenville, Phoenecia, Hunter, Windham) and found this to be an excellent "home base" with scenic drives to our destinations. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. Staff - the staff is what makes this place! The girls in the cafe always offer up a great breakfast with friendly conversation. The pro shop staff are always friendly and accommodating. I must say - Kevin makes the place! He treats everyone like family and is always on top of everything we need, often going above and beyond! Thunderhart is our secret gem of a getaway that always makes us feel at home!

We had a wonderful evening meeting up with high school friends. The service was great and the food was excellent. I have dietary restrictions due to a mast cell problem (no histamines). I let the restaurant know on my form, which meal I could have and what I couldn’t have. I had a beef without the wine sauce, green beans, potatoes. I even had a small piece of plain white cake with a light filling. The waitresses asked me a couple of times if everything was ok. I was very impressed with the service.
