Teeth Of The Dog

Pete Dye’s signature golf course, the #1 course in the Caribbean, and the #39 ranked course in the world—Teeth of the Dog has a reputation that’s well deserved. Meticulously hand carved from the rugged rock and coral of the Dominican coastline, the hard-fought and challenging creation of Teeth of the Dog is an apt description for what playing a round can be like. #39 Ranked Golf Course in the World

Wonderful views with 6 holes on the ocean. Helpful caddies, and challenging, but not unfair. While there, take time to also play the Links course.

Punta Espada Golf Course

Punta Espada Golf Course is already listed among the worlds finest, with the renowned GolfWeek ranking it as the best golf course in the Caribbean and Mexico. Eight holes play along and over the sea. From all points of Punta Espada, golfers are blessed with extraordinary views of the Caribbean, where the sea contrasts against the emerald fairways and the perfect greens. Challenging stroke play and beauty are entwined in this outstanding par 72 course, which hosted the inaugural PGA Tour’s Champions Tour in April 2008 - The Cap Cana Championship. The annual tournament is televised internationally through the Golf Channel and its license-holding subsidiaries.

Spectacular condition, perfect fairways and greens, gorgeous views and fair layout. The course by itself is not that challenging unless playing the tips with the regular wind in your face on 14 of the 18 holes then straight 230 yd drives in the wind are a must to score. Other tees are more forgiving for windy days. The par 3 250yds over the ocean with wind at your back is insane, tough to stop a ball on the target green with a 3 wood. Greens are amazing, a bit slow but true. Apeed of play is awesome took me less than 2 hours for 18 holes with caddy running. Price is high but its worth it for the bucket list. Cap Cana is an amazing place and very well designed. This is top class golf in an outstanding area.

The Country Club at Sandy Lane

With lush greens, five lakes and immaculately cut fairways, the Country Club course is a golfer's paradise. Also designed by Tom Fazio, this challenging 72 par, 7,060-yard course affords breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The 2006 World Golf Championships Barbados World Cup unfolded here.

Myself and 3 other fellows that were on our cruise decided to play golf at the Golf course and country club that Tiger Woods was married at. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. Very scenic course and the country club is beautiful. I ate a flying fish sandwich after the golf. It is an expensive course but for me it was a once in a lifetime event so for me it was worth the cost.

We have been playing Provo Golf club for 20 years, and recent improvements have made it so much better and in pristine condition always tour ready. I highly recommend this course to anyone traveling to Provo, the entire staff is friendly helpful. We go each year and they always remember our names and welcome us like family. Sean and his staff have a great pro shop with a variety of items to choose if you need to rent clubs they have the best clubs to choose from. John the caddie is by far one of the best person you will ever meet. And once your done playing stop by the club house for lunch or dinner because it like the course is absolutely amazing.

Good online offer got my partner and I green fees for £110 each (normally £180). One of the best and most difficult courses I've ever played (the 30 mph wind didn't help). Reminded me of Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. Nice staff in pro's shop and with good help with buggy to get ready for round. Course itself is spectacular. My poor partner is only a beginner and had to stop after seven holes as it was just too long and difficult for her to keep up with play. I struggled off a 4 handicap. I really wouldn't recommend this course to anyone starting out, although it perhaps is still worth it for the views alone. Showered, changed and was glad to sit down for a meal in the clubhouse afterwards. The club was having their annual quiz night, so the restaurant was fully booked. However, our waitress Sharon allowed us to eat in one of the private dining rooms and gave us excellent service. We shared a lobster and noticing there was an option to have a large lobster, went for that. It was quite the biggest lobster I've ever seen and we needed some time after finish our meal before attempting to move! All delicious and compliments to chef on perfectly cooked vegetables. A great day out and a course I will definitely want to play again when I return to Bermuda.

We were 2 couples that went for dinner and we had a wonderful evening! The staff is courteous, polite, engaging and efficient. The young gentleman who was our waiter on September,24th at 7:00pm is well trained and also interjected a sense of humor into the service. The young ladies who also assisted were just as polite and well mannered. Our pan seared grouper was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were was also well prepared. As members we were so happy with our experience at the Beach Pavilion at Mid Ocean Club. Keep up the excellent service. The staff deserves to be recognized especially during this difficult period in tourism and hospitality!

Accuracy is key at this challenging course of par-3s. Winner of Golf Digest’s Best Places To Play Golf, Bermuda’s Fairmont Southampton Golf Course features 18 par-three holes, most with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. With its lush tropical surroundings, dramatic elevation changes and strong coastal winds, this challenging 2,684-yard course is designed to take your short game to new heights, requiring patience and prudent club selection. You’ll play through multiple bunkers and water hazards while three tee offerings on all 18 holes make it perfect for golfers of all skill levels. Rent shoes and clubs at the full-service Pro Shop, where you can also store your bag upon arrival or arrange for lessons from one of the course’s golf professionals.

Apes Hill Golf Club

The newest golf course in the Caribbean opened in December 2009. Apes Hill Club enjoys a prime location at almost 1000 feet above sea level in the centre of Barbados. Located amongst a richly diverse landscape of rolling meadows, dense tropical forest, and coral stone quarries. The Club and its splendid amenities are establishing a new standard of excellence in the Caribbean. The developers, with a shared passion for creating communities designed to preserve and enhance their natural environments, have risen admirably to the challenge. The 470 acres of land has been divided into eight neighbourhoods with two two-thirds of the acreage ramaining as open space. Property owners have a selection of custom homes or semi-detatched villas which blend harmoniously with nature while affording unparalleled views of breathtaking scenery.

I've played other courses on the island, Green Monkey and Royal Westmoreland; but, this is my favorite by far! The views are fantastic, the course is challenging, but fun, and the staff was most accommodating. Stop at the patio bar afterwards for a cocktail and enjoy the view.

Had the pleasure of playing this amazing course on March 6th, and with the help of my great caddie Patrick. Very knowledgeable about the course, and has a wonderful personality. The course itself has some of most stunning views I have ever seen. The changes in elevations are crazy!!!, a definite must play course when in Jamaica. The Pro Shop staff so friendly and helpful!! A special thank you to Keith, for setting up the tee times.
