Things to do in Cambridge, England: The Best Fun Activities & Games

February 1, 2022 Terina Blouin

Cambridge might be best known for its university, home to some of the world’s greatest minds (Milton, Darwin, Hawking, etc.). But there’s a vibrant theater and arts scene here as well, and you’ll find fantastic contemporary restaurants mixed in with traditional pubs. Climb the tower of Great St. Mary’s Church for sweeping views of the city.

Enchanted Cinema

Enchanted Cinema brings together live music, delicious food and all-star cinema to create an evening of magic from start to finish.

I've been to a few of Enchanted Cinema's screenings and loved every one! The atmosphere is great and the decorations (for want of a better word) really enhance the enchanted feeling. The music before the movie was great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Its a great way to spend a summer evening and you get lost in the movie and forget your sitting outside - if you do remember, they have blankets to keep you nice and cosy! Cannot recommend this enough.

We took 3 kids and a dog to cherry hinton hall park for a picnic - the kids loved the playground equipment and the added bonus of a paddling pool. Plenty of room to walk the dog and have a general run about. A lovely spot!
