Cambo Beach Club

The one and only real beach club in Siem Reap. An oasis in the centre of town, beach sand, huge saltwater pool, sounds and amazing place to chill. Amazing toilet facilities, beach volleyball court, pool, table tennis and foosball tables, plus 3 and 5 meter jumps into the 4.2 meter deep diving pool. Always something happening at Cambo Beach Club.

After looking to escape our busy hostel with my friends we found the Cambo beach club. The staff are all very accommodating and the food very tasty. I’d recommend the ribs which is accompanied with a spicy rub and the chicken schnitzel sandwich. Outside of doing the typical tourist sites like Angkor Wat we spent most of our time in the club playing on the free billiards tables, lounging around the pool and chatting to friends. The drink prices are affordable and taste genuine unlike some of the cheap beer offers you find down pub street. The bar offers exports from other countries including my personal favourite which is a Vietnamese pale ale called Fuzzy Logic. The venue also holds events which include international DJ’s and live music nights. There’s no where like it in Siam Reap after spending a considerable amount of time searching. Suitable for all families/friends and couples and will recommend to all friends and family in the future. Elliott

I was nervous to get my first wax abroad but I didn’t need to be! I had an underarm and bikini wax and both were great. The women was so lovely and polite. The least painful and most thorough wax I have ever had! Could not recommend it more.

We did a little searching on TripAdvisor, and his name came up several times. Someone had provided his contact information, although it was somewhat dated, but we decided to try it anyway and he responded in a few minutes. It was late afternoon or early evening when we contacted him, but he quickly agreed to take us the following morning. He was already waiting outside our hotel when we went down to meet him the next day. We had a wonderful day at Silk Island with him. He was very familiar with the area and had a few personal contacts of his own there. He charged us $30 for the entire trip, but we felt he was worth more than that, and paid him accordingly. We actually decided to have him take us again the nexxt day to the Killing Fields and Genocide Museum. He works very hard to provide a good life and future for his family and we were happy to have had the opportunity to meet him. He is happy to answer any questions you may have, but doesn’t overwhelm you with constant narrative and information. He and his family have suffered greatly due to the Vietnam War and Khmer Genocide and it is obviously a painful memory for him, yet he freely speaks about it if asked.

Hello everyone, my name is Olga and I live on Koh Rong, a tropical island in the middle of nowhere and I do enjoy it every single moment of my life here. I keep and grow many of the native (and some non-native) plants and animals of interest to me, but the best thing is the knowledge I get to learn, explore and share every day.

Long Set Beach

The Beach is very nice. Easily accessible from main Pier. There are a few restaurants with different range of prices. Good place to stay longer for party people as there are parties here almost every night. If You are a couple that wants to relax better stay at more quiet places as it is hard to sleep at night.

The beach is amazing, with white sand and clear water. It's quite long so you can enjoy a nice walk, and the beach is really clean.

Coconut Beach

Against many other recommendations of the island this beach is definitively clean and free from plastic trash on the beach. Many restaurants switched from plastic to glass trinking straw. You can there directly from Sihanoukville for 20$ include a return ticket. We used the buva sea speed boat and had no problems with them. They were just in time and received the coconut beach with multiple stops on other peers (Koh Rong etc) in 1,5 hours.

Butterfly Paradise

This attraction was designed and built with the goal of helping the Butterfly Paradise Orphanage and Kantrok Adventist School, located on the same site, become financially independent of donations. Opened to the public on December 25, 2018, Butterfly Paradise gives travelers to Siem Reap a place to relax and immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world. As you enter Butterfly Paradise you will meet Tarpila, the world's largest Caterpillar sculpture. Inside the garden you will be frilled by Butterflies, baby crocodiles, fish, snakes, tortoises, insects, spiders, waterfalls and more all set in a lush flower filled paradise in Siem Reap town. This is a great place for children of all ages. Large fish will massage your feet while you enjoy watching a relaxing waterfall. To escape the heat you can enjoy the air-conditioned cinema and learn more of the wonders of nature. Attractions coming soon are a Vegan Restaurant and a small animal zoo. See you there.

A new and well-maintained Butterfly enclosure, and worthy of its 10 USD entry fee. It's cool enough to spend time both taking photographs and enjoying the manicured nature setting after a few days temple trekking. Here are a few tips to increase your enjoyment. Go as early as possible, as butterflies like to feed early and then take a nap from midday onwards. Move slowly and quietly, and let the butterflies adjust to your presence. If you wait long enough, they will relax around you and some will pose for a photo. Phone camera users will be challenged to get a good shot, so bring a regular camera with a zoom lens of some kind, if possible. There is an info movie theater for kids and adults, for added value. Worth the bumpy ride by tuk tuk to get there, so have fun.

Otres is split in 2 section, Otres 1 & Otres 2. Those lovely beaches with a great white sand, water is super clear and easy for diving. It's take about 15mn (7km) from Golden Lion Roundabout.
