We depart from Bergen, watching the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen from the seaside with the beautiful backdrop of the seven mountains surrounding the city, including Mt Fløyen and Mount Ulriken. We slowly cruise up the fjords from Bergen, where the scenery changes gradually from when we leave the second largest city in Norway, passing the suburbs Sandviken and Eidsvåg, to when we arrive at the narrow remote fjords and villages with beautiful waterfalls. The atmosphere shifts from busy city life, to a quiet and pristine landscape and surroundings. Up in the end of the fjord we call upon a waterfall directly down to the fjord and boat, where you can have a waterfall-shower, or taste the clean mountain water. We dock in the village of Mo for a break, where you can have lunch at the small local cafè- and explore the village on your own.

I have visited Norway just before the start of pandemic Covid-19 spreading. Unfortunaly, I didn' t have during my stay in Norway any walking tours in one of the most popular Norwegian historical cities - Bergen. Suddenly I discovered that one of Bergen tourist agencies suggests virtual online walking tours. It was so nice. International tourism is almost died now. Live online tour was a discovery for me. I was sitting with my smartphone at home enjoying stories of my local guide Ole, who was doing the real tour for me in the center of old Bergen passing with his camera medieval quarters. Tour was shorter than standard real tours. For me 1 hour was enough both for getting historical information and for the shopping at the end of the tour. My trophy became 3 magnets, a cup and 10 cans of blue berry in capsules that help to encrease immune system. Ole sent me them with DHL. My recommendations!

We pick you up from any hotel, and go by our VIP car towards Norheimsund, and the Hardangerfjord region. On the way we stop by two large waterfalls: Fossen Bratte, and Steinsdalsfossen, the last one you can walk behind. We continue to Norheimsund, and change over to the waiting boat, M/Y Iselina Bella, a Princess 50. From Norheimsund we cruise into the narrow, remote and undiscovered pristine Fyksesund fjord, which is only accessible by boat. We stay in here for a couple of hours, just to enjoy the silence in the nice nature, between the steep mountains, with waterfalls directly down to the fjord. You can have a drink from the waterfalls if you like, a shower under them, or a swim in the fjord. When we are happy with the fjord, we cruise back to Norheimsund for lunch at Thon Hotel Sandven, and car back to Bergen. Typically we will be back around 6 PM

Great fjordcruise from Bergen city. A full day of relaxation and lovely nature, beautiful fjords, mountains, waterfalls. Nice boat, nice crew, and this fjord is probably the best option for a daytrip in Bergen. We were a family of 8, and everybody enjoyed the cruise. Captain had some bottles of wine, coffee, tea, snacks, bottled water, all very well arranged.

Unforgettable experience! recommend it to everyone. Our guide (Frode) is a very friendly man with great knowledge of Viking and Norwegian history. Our guide always reassured us by saying exactly what would happen during the course. Also, we always left the luggage inside the car of our guide (so we didn't need care about it). All the times that we did the train ride, and arrived in a train station, our guide was there waiting for us. He always reported us what would happen in the next track and when arrived again at the end of this course, he was there waiting again. Always at the exact time marked. Almost at the end of our tour, the weather was changing rapidly and so as not to risk being stopped at the train station for 5 hours, our guide drove 400 km with his own car to our hotel in Oslo. making a great effort to always make us comfortable. in summary: I recommend 100% for everyone. perfect trip with the perfect guide.

At the railway station in Voss you will find the bus that takes you to Gudvangen where you board the electric ship "Future of the fjord".The Nærøyfjord is one of the narrowest fjords in the world and the cruise takes 2 hours. In 2005, the Nærøyfjord was incorporated on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The trip continues with the Flåm Railway which is one of the world's steepest railway tracks on normal tracks. The 20 km long train journey from Flåm to Myrdal gives you a panoramic view of some of the wildest and most magnificent of Norwegian mountain nature. At Myrdal station a train changes to the Bergen Line which takes you back to Bergen.

Would thoroughly recommend this tour. We were trying to decide between this one and Norway in a nutshell but we’re relieved we chose this one. The waterfall absolutely was beautiful and the viewpoint shouldn’t be missed! The fjord cruise was absolutely amazing, it’s environmentally friendly and so so quiet, you glide across the water. The van was very comfortable and the driver very knowledgeable. We definitely recommended this to anyone visiting southern Norway - highlight of our trip. Also there’s usb charging on the boat and van.

I booked a this tour from EuroRail and it was scheduled for 9/7/20. I paid €633 euro .. and NO one will help me. Euro Railways: Booking Confirmation # 1172ZM - Order # 6583897 - ETICKET PRINT AT HOME. It states on its terms & Conditions that it will refund all monies if government actions prevent it from happening. As AUS was in lockdown so was Norway. Please be responsible and refund my $900 AUD that we paid before Covid interrupted the world . Norway in a Nutshell was the advertised tour via train travel from Oslo to Bergen

The trip goes by private car from Bergen to the old Viking village of Gudvangen, in the end of Nærøyfjorden (UNESCO). In the summer months we drive via the spectacular Stalhemskleiva. From Gudvangen we board the electric passaenger ship "Future of the fjords" and a two hours fjord cruise to Flåm.In Flåm we have time to visit Flåm church from 1667 before we drive to Stegastein viewpoint. Then the tour goes to Undredal, a charming little village along the Aurlandsfjord with a population of approx 100 people. Here we find the smallest church in Scandinavia, Undredal Stave Church from 1147. In Undredal there are about 500 goats and the village is famous for goat cheese, that is still produced the traditional way. In «ELDHUSET – house of cheese» we will be served a lunch menu with white and brown local goat cheese, salami goat, sour cream, cloudberry jam, crisp bread and local fruit juices.

We took this gorgeous tour even without any info, but it was the best part of our trip! Well-Organised, fast and comfortable. Every point was perfectly organised with the help of guide, who told us facts about sights all the way, he pointed the best views for making photos, this is very important for me as tourist. All transport tickets were sent to us, we didn't have any problems. Next time in Bergen we obviously would take these tours. Recommend! Recommend! Recommend!
