After a long while, I went back to Geretti to have some pieces of family jewellery redesigned and refitted. Just like last time, the service was great - Marc is very customer friendly - and the final product was exactly what I asked. My ring turned out even better than I imagined. Fantastic shop! Really great support all the way from picking the stones to deciding on the final designs. I visited twice in a period of 3 years. In both cases, Itzik and Lora spent so much time helping and educating every step of the way and honestly I can’t imagine buying diamonds from anyone else. Highly recommended and definitely an experience not to be missed!

My fiancé and I met Mr. Poussenier one year ago when we decided to commission the making of our wedding rings. I am Italian, I studied the goldsmith's art and I worked for several years in the goldsmith's field and I know very well what is hidden behind a work banquet, so I had no intention of entrusting such an important project to anyone else but a master of excellence. They are still rings that we will wear for a long time! But our trip to Antwerp did not disappoint my expectations. Quite the contrary. As soon as we entered, we were overwhelmed by the smiles and attention of Mr Pousseinier, who followed us step by step in the choice not only of the ring suitable for our needs and personality but also according to skin tone and finger size. I have rather small hands and having chosen a semi eternal ring the choice of the right carat was essential for the discreet and refined result I was looking for. For my fiancé, then, he created a masterpiece - a solid, powerful and outstanding wedding ring. I have to be honest, in this case: at first, I was not satisfied with the choice, but we had only seen a prototype to be adapted to my fiancé's choices. The finished wedding ring was all a discovery and we couldn't be happier. It's not over. By my mistake, I requested the wrong size and at the time of the trial, the ring didn't fit. I panicked. Well, the panic lasted just a few hours; as soon as we got back to the atelier, I was reassured. My wedding ring would be fixed in a few days. And again, surprise! I was afraid that the alteration would change the look of the band, instead - as a master as he is - he added a few grams of gold and the final result is amazing. No one would say that I made the sash resize. And when we talk about diamond rings it is not always taken for granted. Even pricewise he is unbeatable. All I can do is recommend him. He made us extremely happy and grateful.

We heard about Pol Depla, Chocolatier on the Belgian television yesterday morning and decided to visit as they make all of their chocolate from the cocoa beans themselves (they import these by sailing boat as it’s more environmentally friendly). We bought some chocolates and then went next door for our hot chocolate. There were three choices, dark, milk or white chocolate, we had milk. Each hot chocolate is served as a mug of hot milk and the chocolate on a wooden spoon. You stir the chocolate into the milk yourself as it melts, mmm! The service was excellent, they speak Flemmish, French and English and each drink was served with a delicious chocolate. We liked it so much that we went back the next day too and wish we’d found it on our first day in Bruges!

This is a review of t'Apostelientje online shop which I discovered thanks to the other reviews on Tripadvisor, when looking to buy authentic Belgian lace online. What a pleasant shopping experience it has been and what a joy it is to receive parcels from Anne! I placed a few orders already and all the pieces that I received were unique, beautiful works of art! Anne promptly responded to all of my messages, emailed me photos of the pieces that I was interested in and gave an honest opinion on the lace condition. The parcels arrived quickly to the UK and, to my great delight, sometimes included lovely little gifts as gestures of good will-- as I became a very frequent customer! :) Thank you very much Anne! So pleased I found this very quaint chocolate shop, staff were very friendly and waited patiently for me to fill my chocolate box, beautifully presented and opened today on my return to England and the chocolates are wonderful, so exciting all the different flavours, we went to Bruges for wonderful Belgium chocolate and found this shop offering authentic Handmade chocolates, highly recommend a visit
