The Société Provancher owns the Island since 1929 and protects this jewel where one can see and touch the remains let behind by the Basque whale hunters. Many migratory bird can be observed depending on seasons. During the 3 hours visit (in French), you will discover the Parc naturel et historique de l’Île aux Basques in its pristine nature.
