Stunningly beautiful, relatively 'modern' mosque. Though it s origins are medieval, most of what you see is from the late nineteenth, early twentieth centuries. The overall result is oplent but respectful of tradition.

We were only allowed to see the outside of the mosque but enjoyed my time at this beautiful location. I learnt a lot about the history from our guide who was kind enough to inform us about it. A must visit to all tourists...it’s indeed beautiful. Go in the daytime!
