This was one of the best tours me and my wife have ever taken during our travels around the world. Premiere Tours is by far the best guiding agency we ever hired, and Jorge Bras is the most knowledgeable guide, a true gentleman, always looking out for our wellbeing. Fatima and Sintra are truly two of the most wonderful places in the planet. The spirituality of Fatima and the mysticism of Sintra with its magical fairytale palaces, made the top on our favorite places in the world list. Even though we were in Portugal for only three days on a business trip, during the pandemic, we decided to contact Premiere Tours for ideas on a one day tour, and we are so pleased that we were advised to take this one. We recommend this highly professional guiding agency to everyone visit Portugal.

Despite having become exceedingly popular and a bit crowded in recent years, Porto is worth a long visit and Ricardo made sure we would experience the city in the best possible way, with a local whose wealth of knowledge about the history of this vibrant city made it so enjoyable. The wine tasting included a visit to one of the lesser known Port Wine brands, an up and coming enterprise rooted in tradition that caters to smaller groups and allows for a personalized and fact-filled experience, coupled with some excellent wine!

There are several cities which benefit from the privilege of being near watercourses. Aveiro is no exception, as its stands out thanks to its famous Ria, abundant in fish and waterbirds. The "moliceiros", unique boats with simple decoration reminding the naif painting, are also connected to the ria, still collecting the seaweed- a great fertilizer for arid lands.

Went on this tour last October, and had a wonderful experience! Silvia was our guide and she was so amazingly sweet and thoughtful. We travelled with a french couple and she literally explained everything in two languages: French and English. Not only is that extremely nice, I can only imagine the energy that takes :) The whole experience of driving through Douro, the wines, the people we spoke to and the delicious wines we could taste: would definitely recommend. After an invigorating walk, we start a panoramic tour, where we will pass through several wine estates and in one of the oldest and most traditional wineries in the region, we will take a break to visit. We will have direct contact with the "terroir", the grapes, the deep and fresh tunnels where the nectars rest and we will do a wine and sparkling tasting. Xavier not only educated us on Conimbriga but also the surrounding area. He took us to these beautiful limestone caves, to the town of Rabaçal and bought us it’s famous artisan cheese and bread. What a lovely surprise. He showed and explained the markers for the Fátima and St James pilgrimage trail. Both going through Conimbriga. We highly recommend this tour by Xavier.

We spend a long afternoon and evening with Filipe and it was wonderful. I highly recommend him. We visited Sintra and the amazing Perla Palace , the Quinta Regaleira and had the lovely pastry specialty of Sintra. Filipe is a very pleasant charming person to be with, he is very knowledgeable about, the area, the sites, the history and so much more. Time flies with him. We ended the evening in a great fish and seafood restaurant hanging on the side of a cliff Azenhas do Mar. If you are in Lisbon take one of his tours and enjoy.
