Aldwick Beach

Took me back to my childhood, walking barefoot in the warmth of the shallows, lovely firm sand and then the excrutiating pain of struggling up the shingle to get back to the promenade. Memories are made of this.

Littlehampton Beach

Reviewed By 247miked - Fareham, United Kingdom

The weather will draw the crowds to this glorious sandy beach. Low tide reveals a massive amount of sand. Crabbing off the river wall, fish and chips, ice cream and a new ferris wheel. Oh, the delights of at day at the seaside. Parking is a nightmare but wharf lane is free and only a short walk via the bridge over the river Arun. Come and enjoy, like it used to be.

Pagham Beach

Reviewed By paperclipp

Ok, it was hot on Sunday. Looking for the nearest beach to my holiday stay I found Pagham. Easy (disabled friendly) parking, clean public loos, Co-Op shop, cafes, food, beach shop (to buy beach shoes for paddling on the pebbles) so everything you might need within 200ms of the beach which has easy access for all abilities. The beach was super clean, the sea clearer than those in the Mediterranean - I saw fish spry - and the sea warm enough to paddle or swim without a wet suit. Lots to gaze at on the water sitting next to the yacht club. Perfect!

Butlin's Day Visits

Reviewed By stucathkids - Chichester, United Kingdom

We organised a day visit for our sons 12th birthday celebrations. Fairground, Splash and Papa Johns... perfect for his age and his friends! Splash was fantastic, we had heard a lot about it and it lived up to expectations and was a fabulous experience. The staff were great and we noticed how clean it has been kept. Clearly gets huge use and is busy but the cleanliness was very good and staff continually cleaning and being proactive in all areas. Lunch at Papa Johns was great and Ginnie, Martin and Emma all fan-dabi-dozi... Great fun and energy and made it very special. Butlins clearly looks after its staff well and this is reflected in their approach to their work. Thoroughly recommend for a great day out for kids!

Recently started playing again and have played here the last four Wednesday evenings with a friend, We aim to tee off arond 7 and if booking online only £11 and pence for 9 is a bargain. The course is well kept and the greens were ok until sanded this week, no major issues just seems to affect how the ball reacts, Like the place so much im thinking of becoming a member.
