This small gallery hosts small collections of other local artists, as well as Mick Oxley's stunning watercolour and mixed media paintings. You can therefore see displays of jewellery and pottery, as well as small gifts, so there is something for every pocket. Mr Oxley's sea scenes and capture of light are really worth a visit.

We went to the gallery coffee shop to have a late morning break and discovered an amazing array of artwork for sale. There were pictures both framed and just matted. There were calendars, mugs, coasters, books, pottery, and jewelry. The price range was from very reasonable to very expensive, but there was such a wide array, that you are likely to find something to your taste and in your budget range. A lucky find for sure.

The Bakehouse Gallery offers the visitor a deceptively large space in which to view the work of carefully selected British artists and designers. It is a wonderful, inviting and inspiring gallery oozing light and harmony, full of texture, vibrancy and colour with the overriding emphasis, most definitely, on quality. Follow brown tourist signs on entering Alnwick.

Fiona runs a very good Gallery with some amazing Artists. Mark Edwards work was the highlight and we bought a piece that is now hanging in pride of place at home. Anyone who visits Alnwick must pay a visit.
