A group of us, 4 stayed here 3 nights. The first night we were in two separate rooms, one with hot water, one without. We moved to the large 2 bedroom suite with small pool / hot tub on the top of the hotel and again, tepid to no hot water. Views are spectacular but to obtain those, there are many steps / stairs. Easy access to the village via car, walking would be tough, at least getting back to the hotel. Little restaurant is adequate for a quick meal but there are many wonderful dining options nearby that are much better.

Located 40 steps to playa la ropa retires and nice people, enjoy our traditional pot luck dinner.
My daughter and I stayed for 9 Nights, we wished it was longer. We liked the location , very quiet, short walk to La Ropa beach and some restaurants. Also close to the bus stop or taxi stand. we did not find English TV, so we just did without, Noe and staff very nice.

Our family of five stayed in one of the villas next to the pool. We enjoyed our stay. Our villa was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and there was plenty of room. There was not hot water though and there was no extras in the kitchen. Bring spices, paper towels and soap or you will need to buy it. The pool was clean and well looked after. The staff was great. The front desk people were very helpful. George went out out of his way to help us arrange things and was always very friendly. This Hotel was a little off the main road but we found it to be close by to many things we wanted to do. We did however have a rental car. We recommend this hotel!!!

La Escollera Suites is a Hotel for adults only. With only 6 suites. You will enjoy a perfect relax place. Every room offer the spectacular view to the Zihuatanejo's bay , one king size bed, air conditioning, flat t.v. satelite, safe, continental's breakfast. Sitting area and a hot tub with motor or a terapeutic bath with 8 jets (3 new suites) on the terrace. A unik and unforgetable experience. La Escollera where dreams come true.
We stayed at La Escollera and had a lovely time. The staff works hard to provide a unique and relaxing experience. It’s a short walk to Playa Ropa where there’s a delicious restaurant called La Gaviota. You will for sure want to make reservations to eat there. Down the street from La Escollera you can catch the local transportation that will take you into town where you can find the restaurant Any. We had the best pozole, chile relleno and chilaquiles at Any’s. Side note, be sure to get some peso to pay for the local transportation, because the driver will give you ½ of the exchange rate if you pay in US dollars. When you are here it’s important to remember that you’re on Mexico time.

A family-run inn featuring spacious air-conditioned suites with kitchenettes, pool, outdoor terrace, parking and internet access. Located in a quiet corner of La Madera neighborhood near several restaurants and less than half a block from the beach. Ideal for long term stays or even for a short visit.
We loved the Canto del Mar. While we couldn’t see or hear the water, we were within a 10 minute walk to the beach, to Centro, and to the mercado. And within just a few minutes walk to several great restaurants. Our unit was a small 2 bedroom that was spotlessly clean and was equipped with almost everything we needed for our brief 4 night stay. A highlight was getting to chat with Brenda and Carla, two of the family who own and run this business. They were helpful, kind, and very friendly. Can’t wait to go back for a longer stay!

This multi-level small boutique boasts an absolutely charming staff, rooms, and shared spaces. The room was large, comfortable, cute, with a small sitting area in the room as well as just outside our sliding door. The room was very private - we felt like we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. The staff was wonderful - Efram even somehow found us when we were slightly lost as we arrived. The breakfast was great - especially with the breathtaking view. Of course, the AC was very much appreciated!

It started and ended with the taxi service. Jose Anica and Euriel #8 Taxi greeted us with a smile at the airport and they quickly became friends. I would suggest doing the day tour of Acapulco with them and eating at the restaurant with Cliff divers. Jose and Euriel went out of their way to make us feel special. Mayan Palace surpassed all expectations. The pools and service were Spectacular! The views were amazing, the food was awesome! From Bell service to maid service it was very professional and very friendly! The beach was beautiful. I’d suggest bringing a boogie board or renting one at the beach you can do horseback riding, rent ATVs, Beach equipment umbrellas and chairs etc. I would suggest the shrimp tacos from the restaurant at the beach We will do it again someday! thank you Myan Palace and especially Jose and Euril for making our 35th anniversary trip phenomenal!!

My husband and I just returned from our stay at Villa Arabesque last night. It was everything we expected. We arrived at the Villa and were shown our suite. We immediately changed into our swimsuits and began to enjoy the Villa. We normally travel 2X a year into either the Carribean or Mexico. This was our first stay at a Villa. We were the only guests for the entire week. The staff was fantastic, Oscar contacted us daily to ask about our plans, meals and if we needed anything. Oscar put us in contact with Saul for transportation to and from the airport as well as any tours. Saul's team spoke wonderful English and were very friendly and helpful. We spent our time at the Villa and only took one tour. The suites themselves are quite something! The only downside was no blow dryer in the rooms, TVs or radios. We did feel out of touch - but it was the best way to truly get away from it all. The meals were great. In the morning and early afternoon, Daniel was our waitperson. In the later afternoon and evenings, Chocho replaced Daniel. Chocho makes a great Margaritta! There are 3 pools at the Villa, we spent most of our time at the main pool. There are incredible vistas from the pool and main living area. The piano bar and disco were open but with only the two of us - there was no need. After dinner, we would take our drinks and enjoy the views. Because we were the only guests, we had a lot of relaxation and solitued. A few more guests would have been fun. I think this would be a great place to go with friends or just a couple. If you want a great night life, you will need to leave the Villa but otherwise - everything you could want is right there. We will visit again - this was our most relaxing vacation ever!

Once again my visit to the Mexico Mansion was 1st class. Terri 50th Birthday was a blast with VIP service from the staff. All staff had service with a smile and was very attentive to all of our needs(17 people). The owner Steve is the perfect host. I can't wait to get back.

Directly across the patio, the waves of the ocean rise, smiling, as if to welcome you; while the leaves of the palm trees seem to dance with the ocean’s incoming breeze. Enormous rocks stand before the water, like a group of loyal guardians, as though protecting the house. The simplicity of the place is in total communion with nature; the only sounds one will hear are the sounds of the breaking waves, the wind among the palm trees, and the early morning chirping of the birds.
