Great experience in a traditional guest house!
Reviewed By gabrielbI4557OSWe were accommodated in a traditional guest house. The inside was very well decorated with vintage and traditional look, but fresh furniture and a modern bathroom. The house was situated in the residential and very quiet side of the area with traditional houses, but very close to the commercial/touristic city center (5 min. walk) Hosts were very welcoming and friendly and gave us directions on what to visit, while leading us to the house. Overall a great experience.

B&B Charming trulli is a complex of trulli located among the beautiful streets of historic centre of alberobello . Trulli are very cozy, elegant and refined, furnished with a minimal taste Mediterranean-style, typical of the area. The reception is located next to the Trullo Sovrano, near the most important monuments of Alberobello . Guests are fully taken care of and pampered even better than that offered by the activities continuously assisted by information material made in an appropriate and tailored to their needs ; breakfast rich and abundant in international style is offered in its restaurant trattoria TERRA MADRE, with organic garden, where guests can also have lunch or dinner or to make cooking courses with vegetables picked from their garden at the back of the restaurant: possibility to use a free computers and printers inside the reception.

Reviewed By 947gaI had an excellent breakfast, probably the best in over two weeks travelling around Italy. The town was average though imho. The rooms were clean and the under floor heating was especially welcomed. I recommend charming Trulli

Friendly and efficient
Reviewed By Steve HWe visited in November and the main room was quite well heated by a pellet burning stove and radiators. The bedroom was less well heated and was, in fact, quite cold. Our stay lasted a week and since we were there most evenings, certain things did begin to irritate! The TV is set very high up on a huge fold-up bed affair so had to be moved down every day to be viewable. The sofa had to be turned since it was in quite the wrong place. These are of course, very minor matters indeed and I mention them only in the hope that the owners might review them! More serious was that the kitchen had no utensils at all! No kitchen knives, no wooden spoons, chopping board or other tools. There were a couple of cheap saucepans and frying pans and nothing else. A 4 ring gas cooker with the main ring disabled meaning that trying to boil water for pasta took forever! The lighting was completely inadequate and I had to bring a bedside lamp in every time I wanted to cook! I suppose that most people eat out so this won't matter to many but for us, it made the stay less comfortable than it might have been. Breakfast is supplied in the form of packets of sweet buns etc (not to our taste) and a good coffee machine is also present. The bathroom is well appointed, everything works as it should, and there's plenty of hot water. The owners topped up the pellet stove every day while we were out. There is under-cover parking. There are also cats, lots of them! The owner (we really spoke only with the son) is friendly and they seem to have a successful and popular business. Overall, we enjoyed our stay though it could have been made more comfortable by the additions and small changes mentioned above. This seems to be listed as a hotel but it isn't really, it's a b&b or rented apartment - perhaps something in between!

Beautiful, peaceful and perfectly located
Reviewed By Neil AI cannot recommend Trulli Colarossa highly enough. We stayed for 5 nights in April/May and it was the perfect base for our travels to the nearby traditional Pugliese towns; everywhere we wanted to go was around half an hour’s drive from Alberobello. But it was often hard to leave Colarossa because it’s so beautiful. The trulli are gorgeous inside and outside, and we spent many hours just relaxing in the sunshine outside our front door. Donato is the perfect host: he gave us all the information we needed for our trips including parking and restaurant recommendations, and he was exactly as attentive as a good host should be. His advice helped us plan our days perfectly and he completely understood our needs. He played a huge part in making our holiday easier and more enjoyable than it would have otherwise been. Also his mum’s home-made breakfasts were delightful! Grazie mille Donato and Mama! Anyone wanting a beautiful, relaxing base in central Puglia for a few days should seriously consider Trulli Colarossa. Excellent value for money and an invaluable personal touch that you just don’t get in hotels. Perfetto!

Reviewed By Sissylove32We stayed for 4 nights here. The Trulli is really well located and it's right in the heart of the Trulli UNESCO site. Minutes away from restaurants, bars, shops etc. It's very comfy inside - we had 2 double beds, a small kitchen and the bathroom (they have several Trulli you can book). You also have access to a garden and the roof for a view of the area. Great at sunset though you can't sit up there - they maybe are missing something here.... (!).

The bathroom has a shower. The Trullo Uva Featuring a large living area, Trullo Uva is well suited to groups or families. In addition to the master bedroom, a double bedroom and a double bedsofa (in the living room) are available. Like all other trulli it offers a fully equipped kitchen with stove, sink, oven, refrigerator. In the bathroom, a shower and a Jacuzzi.

Indeed a wonderful experience. They go into detail of providing basic needs in groceries for your first needs at the stay in the Trulli. You are taken care of from your arrival at the residence till the departure. Would recommend to families as it is the ideal place to rest. Even the location of the Trullo is central to Alberobello. Reviewed By GuideVenturousWe loved our stay at La Linea dell’Orizonte. We were in the region of Puglia in October, visiting Alberobello as part of our trip. This accommodation was perfect - Manuela and her mum were the sweetest hosts who made us feel very welcome. The property is beautiful - with a swimming pool, free parking, olive trees, a wellness room with sauna and spa, and especially the cutest rooms - inside traditional trullis, like the ones you see in the center of Alberobello, but without the crowds, instead with songs of birds and tranquility. We slept so well, undisturbed by anything. Breakfast served on our porch was so fresh and delicious, we could choose between croissants, bread with cheese and ham, fruits, yogurts and more. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We can highly recommend La Linea dell’Orizonte as the perfect place to stay.
