A good Place to stay and with a really good bar with nice cocktails and a wonderful atmosphere. If its day time you have the best shadow so you can good relax all the time there. Cute decorations everywhere, well-maintained and equipped. Very clean. The owner and her family are super nice, friendly and with helpful gestures. Breakfast was also superb, could not really finish coz we were too full. Would definitely come back here and highly recommend to others. *Family friendly * They have a cute + friendly cat and a shy cute dog.

Reviewed By conny18We stayed for 2 nights in a room on 3rd floor ( no elevator). Larger rooms are available in the main building. Our room was nicely decorated and had balcony with views over a green area. We enjoyed not only very cosy linens and the king seize bed but also a hot shower, a noiseless fridge and good wifi connection (also helpful if you don't speak Thai ;)). The room as well as the public area are meticously clean. The owner family is very kind and friendly. Coffee is free and breakfast is available on demand. Though late at night a nearby Karaoke Bar can be an issue and the location is a bit out of town - we will definitely stay there again next time in Ranong. We had the best seafood just around the corner and a Big C mall would be in walking distance too. Just liked this place!

Bad Service, Bad Toilet Smell, Small lizard poo on the Bed
Reviewed By pearthetravellerGood Location, But the room was not very Clean. When I first got to the room, there was Lizard poo on the blanket. So I asked staffs to change the sheet, then They look angry all the times until I checked out. The toilet smell bad, maybe from the pipe. Small piece of iron left from renovation lies on the wall. My dad got stings in his finger Breakfast is good. The only nice staffs were the one cooking breakfast. The others including receptionist, housekeeping are bad. Also there was loud noise during daytime because of their renovation.

Reviewed By andrewbruceAnother year goes by and I have just spent another night, whilst in transit from Koh Chang to Bangkok, at this very convenient and very cheap (260THB for a fan double with cold water shower and external window) budget hotel. The English speaking young Manager, Jo, is very helpful and the hotel is situated in Ranong's main street, close to several convenience stores and places to eat. You would not want to spend your holiday here but for a night or two in transit too/from Kho Pham/Koh Chang and plane or bus to Bangkok or over to Surat Thani, a great and very cheap place to stay. Excellent budget place, but wonderful
Reviewed By Tonga555Pro: Palmy Home is right diagonal across from Rattana Rangsan Palace. It is on Niwet Mount in Ranong city center. It is very clean, equipped with TV & bathroom inside. Space of room is okay, not too big or small. Price is really worthwhile as starting from 300 THB( fan room: for me,Fan room is fine as it's cold at night). CON: approx. 1.2 km from Ranong market ( little far, but walkable) Overall Palmy Home is highly recommended as room rate is low, but clean & helpful staff. I will stay here next trip in Ranong.

Nice room and service
Reviewed By pornbooThe hotel located a bit far from the city but you can easily catch the public car and the fare is only 15 baht. The hotel is very new, the room is very big and comfortable. The service is great, breakfast is the best they provide local style which is very delicious.
