Ottimo bilo per coppie in visita al centro città
Reviewed By mauro m(rif. dependance via San Gervasio 1) Bilocale posto in condominio più che dignitoso, dotato di ascensore. Arredo moderno e pressoché completo. Cucina ampia e comoda. Pulito. I due locali sono spaziosi e il letto grande (senza pediera, cosa utile per gli over 180 cm). Forse l’armadio un po’ piccolo per lunghi soggiorni o se si è in più di due. La cosa più strana è che le pareti verso la strada non hanno imposte ma solo tende completamente oscuranti all’interno: se sollevate si ha l’effetto vetrina rispetto ai condomini di fronte, se abbassate non si capisce neppure se vi sia il sole o la pioggia. Nello stesso palazzo una farmacia e un piccolo supermercato. Tutt’intorno negozi, bar e ristoranti. Le nostre tre notti (ma pieno inverno) senza rumori fastidiosi dalla strada. Come indicato, no parcheggio in loco e zona ZTL. Quindi, ottimo e consigliato per vistare il centro città a piedi.

LATORDICELLA is a lovely small house on three levels, with thick sandstone walls dating back to the 19th century, renovated by the owner with love and dedication to the ancient, immersed in the quiet and silence of the wooded hills of the Santerno valley. . It is located on the slopes of the mountain where stands the charming church of Valmaggiore, facing the ruins of Cantagallo, in the land of Romagna, on the border with Tuscany and a few kilometers from the quaint medieval village of Castel del Rio, famous for the bridge and the palace of Alidosis. To reach it, you have to take a short stretch of dirt road in the middle of the woods. Hospitality We have made available to guests: a floor with two double bedrooms and a shared bathroom for their exclusive use and on the ground floor a third double bedroom, with a second bathroom, use of the kitchen (fee if required) and the possibility to use all indoor and outdoor spaces.

Reviewed By domcThis peaceful place is located in the hills of Emilia Romagna, about 75 min from Bologna and Ravenna. You need a car (1-2 km unpaved road) to get to this romantic but isolated place. Beautiful views on the hill and sunset. Nice sunbeds and swimming pool. However the best is the host Andrea. Nothing is too much for him. You ask he delivers. With pain in the heart my family left this place after 5 days. Thank You Andrea & Maffy (border collie) for our fantastic stay!

Reviewed By sc kWe stayed here for two days. Monica the host obviously has a great taste for design. Her house is a gem. However, there are some points of feedback: first of all the location is far from the center of Bologna. Not the best area. In the room no shower is included (only a bath, which is old and the jacuzzi doesn't work). The room is adjacent to an extremely noisy street. It's dark, and located inside the owners house so there is a lack of privacy. Host is nice. But we think the value is not in balance according to the high booking price. Also very inflexible in cancellations. We would not recommend to go there. The possibility to place a review on booking.com was blocked after we checked out.

Les chambres sont petites mais très propres et offrent tout le confort nécessaire pour un court séjour. Salle de bain avec douche, Tv, frigo. Accueil chaleureux et propriétaires très sympathiques. Nous avons dégusté un très bon et copieux repas le soir de notre arrivée, composé de plats régionaux confectionnés maison. À une vingtaine de minutes de l’autoroute, bien centré entre Bologne et Modene.

Hugely Compicated Check-In and Door Locks Sometimes Failed
Reviewed By FountainhallChecking in to this very centrally located guest house - close to both the station and the main sights - is nothing short of weird. There are no staff on duty and so you have to first register and then get entry codes online. One code is to enter the building. The other is to punch in on the doorway of the guest house in the dingy and very dark second floor. This then opens both the door to let you in and at the same time unlocks the door to your bedroom. None of this odd method is mentioned on the hotels.com website!l But if anything goes wrong, you can be stuck for a long time, especially if your phone does not have roaming and WhatsApp. When I arrived for the single night at the start of my short Italian trip, I met the owner. He told me I would have no problem leaving my small bag whilst I went sightseeing the next day. My code would enable me to get in to retrieve it later in the afternoon. That turned out to be a small nightmare! A simple breakfast is provided in a cafe across the road. When I returned, I packed my bag, left it in the room as instructed whereupon the room locked and there was no way back in. I then pressed the “unlock the front door" button. It did not open. I tried at least 6 times. I was completely stuck! No way out and no way back to the bedroom. After 20 long minutes, a maid finally arrived. I rechecked my entry code before I left and finally set off. That was not the end of my problems, though. Returning to get my bag, the entry code did not in fact work!! To ensure I got to my pre-booked train, I made an expensive call via Bangkok to the owner. I was then told the entire locking system had to be reset. After a few minutes on the call I got another code to gain access. Returning 6 days later, I had been given another code. It worked. But the internet did not! For 3 hours in the late afternoon, I got at most 3 minutes each time before the signal kept on cutting out. The final indignity occurred as I was getting ready for bed. There was no hot water. Someone had forgotten to turn on the water heater in the small bathroom. Another WhatsApp message apologized and told me the water would only take a few minutes to heat up. Wrong! For the first time in decades of traveling, I went to bed without a shower or bath. With a very reasonable price and great location, this should be ideal simple holiday accommodation. Rooms are basically furnished, but the bed linen was crisp and fresh. Ear plugs of the type given out for long flights are provided on the bedside tables but these only work well in blocking constant noise. They are much less successful with the heavy traffic occasionally passing outside on the main road. But overall, the many problems which arose and the complete frustration in not having a real person to deal with them means I cannot recommend this establishment to any traveler.

Che dire, siamo rimasti assolutamente entusiasti. Cercavamo un semplice posto per dormire e abbiamo trovato in questa bellissima struttura una vera casa, e nel signor Guido una bellissima persona ed un amico. Un luogo che terremo sicuramente nel cuore e nel quale torneremo presto. Altamente consigliato!
