The best available Specialty lodgings to stay near London

April 24, 2023 Emerita Lamoureux

Ancient tradition and contemporary trend meet in age-old London. One of the most cosmopolitan and dynamic destinations on earth, for centuries the British capital has been on the forefront of whatever has been deemed cutting edge, en vogue, and topical. A thriving metropolis of several million people with a global reach and a worldly outlook, London is at its heart a series of small, interconnected villages with the framework and infrastructure of a modern city joining them together, yet seldom denying each its own distinctive character.

Stayed for one night for a work event. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, great customer service! The room was clean and spacious. Even though there was some construction work ongoing next door, they had left some earplugs to avoid the noise. I would definitely stay again

Reasonble price for London and easy enough to get into the centre

e had a pleasant 2 night's stay. Like all Premier Inns a very con=mfortable bed and filling breakfast. The only complaint was we were in a standard room and they had tried to shoehorn in a very large, heavy armchair. There was just not enough room so you had to either move it or climb over it to get to bed. and moving it was not at all easy - as well as difficult to find room anywhere to put it. Either get rid of it or replace with a much smaller one.

Very nice hotel near DLR station Limehouse at the London East end. Although you would not expect from the outside, this was a very pleasant surprise staying in a beatifull building. Much cheaper than any hotel close by, very friendly staff and nice and clean room including bathroom. Good breakfast and beautifull garden which due to the weather could not really be used during my visit. Absolutely recomnendable and i will certainly return once i get back to London. Two points to mention: pretty noisy outside due to presence of busy road and DLR and poor 4G sigal, also poor wifi in the room, but all for me no problem.

Nice location - tired room

Reviewed By 505lesleyw

Booked two rooms via booking.com and both rooms were up lots of flights of stairs and in two different buildings which was a shame. One room was slightly better than the other. The one room in the main building was looking tired and not quite up to scratch. The chair had seen better days and the sink hda no plug, toilet flush part broken and the shower would not stay up making it difficult to shower. The bed was comfortable but the pillows smelt funny. We had road facing rooms and these were a little noisy on and off all night and with early morning deliveries. The rooms had kitchenette area which was handy but rooms weren't as nice as looking as in the pictures advertised. Location wise was good for exploring London. Russell Square tube station a short walk away.

Perfect Stay

Spent 12 days at The Chronicle in early May. It was an excellent experience. The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet place but very close to public transportation and 10 mins walk from Covent Garden. Staff was extremely helpful and took care of every minor need I had. Both Mark and Mirela were perfect hosts. Room was spotless and exactly as described. I will surely repeat!
