Elysium offers everything you're dreaming of: refined restaurants and bars, excellent food, elegant spaces, breathtaking sea view from rooms and suites, awesome pools, fabulous gardens, sophisticated entertainment, best level Spa and an awesome relaxing beach! We loved every single detail of this wonderful 5 stars resort. We appreciated the luxury transfer from the airport to the hotel as well as the shops inside the resort and all other amenities. Let us spend few more words for all the staff: everyone has made our vacation unforgettable thanks to the extraordinary kindness and professionalism. Excellent! A special mention goes to Mr. Manolis who took care of me and my allergies. Thank you once again for the outstanding job.

Amazing with a few flaws
Reviewed By eliasj902All in all a great hotel. The staff is very kind. The food is delicious. There is also a SPA, which seems very good quality. There is also a store where you can buy all necessary things you need. The cleaners make the rooms really nice. I think the reception wasn’t too good. We came in for the first time, and we had to wait for about 3 hours to get the room cleaned at first. I still don’t understand how that’s possible as the cleaner usually takes only about 30-50 minutes. The swimming pools are very nice and clean. There are a lot of insects though. We found some spiderd and ants crawling in our room in the middle of the night which wasn’t too nice.

Reviewed By Sharon GWe came to this hotel 5 years ago in April and never forgot how special it was. We love how natural it feels, elegant, beautiful but unpretentious. We particularly love the lighting, the gardens and water features and of course the food. We love the lady who runs the hotel shop, next to the restaurant, she has a very long day, she managers the shop brilliantly and is so helpful and kind. The staff on every level at the hotel are very caring and attentive are rooms were spotlessly clean! We were particularly impressed by a waiter called Kostas who spoke very good English and served us in one of the hotel restaurants called Fos and during a breakfast service. He made us feel very welcome and special and nothing was too much trouble, we would like to say a big thanks to him for making our holiday even better.

5 Star Luxury!
Reviewed By Damo1976What an amazing holiday! Our family upgraded to a sea-view villa upon arrival. Totally worth the extra expense! This resort has approx 700 rooms on site of varying sizes, but only 5 luxury villas, each with their own private pool. The villa upgrade also included the 'elite collection' level of all-inclusive. We travelled as a family of 4 and estimate we spent approx 60-70% of our time relaxing at the villa! We had our own pool and the kids loved that. We had room service breakfast to the villa (included in our collection), daily minibar refill and a whole host of Greek delights and treats delivered daily... think Greek cheeses and snacks, or yoghurt with jam, wines, champagne. We had all the luxury! Also included in our stay was the option to visit each of the 3 a-la-carte restaurants as often as we wished. Choice of Greek, Italian and Asian (all of which were fantastic). The food and service was amazing at all 3. Our favourite cuisine was the Greek, but this is subjective and personal taste of course. The main buffet restaurant is also spacious and has great food (with different themes daily). On-site is a waterpark and a collection of large pools with family and adult-only zones to cater for everyone. We only used the main pool a couple of times as we were spoiled with our private villa pool. Our boys did love the waterpark though and the collection of slides, including a dedicated kids zone for the youngsters. Evening entertainment was mixed and varied from acrobats to opera singers and more in between! A special kids disco at the start of the evening was essential for our family with all the summer favourite songs for the young ones. We made daily use of the executive lounge, taking breakfast there one morning and stopping for evening drinks pre and post meal. Quiet and private, away from the busy main bars was a nice way to relax after a day of waterpark fun! We did venture out from the resort to visit Rhodes old-town, taking the sea taxi from the beach outside our hotel. A beautiful place to visit and I will write up about the old town separately. But for this review, I want to call out the amazing first-class service from Fotini in Guest Relations. So attentive and passionate about ensuring we had everything we needed. She took care of all our dinner reservations and arranged our room service requests as well. We had daily visits and calls from Fotini to literally take care of all our needs. She is an asset and an ambassador for the Amada Colossus reorts. Overall, this was the best family holiday we have ever had. We are already looking at options to go back in 2023. The hotel was spotless and stunning inside and out. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was decent,the lunch in the restaurant by the pool was very impressive and the breakfast buffet had a lot of options to choose from. The location was another highlight,quick and easy to get into rhodes town and the restaurants in kalithea were great and perfect walking distance from the hotel. Options to relax by the pool or get involved with activities run by the excellent keko were great to have. Overall a great place to stay and we will definitely recommend.

Not even built! Mis sold holiday with on the beach

I had even corresponded with the spa manager who claimed to not know the building wasn’t complete ? I was booked from 1st-8th June and was not informed by the hotel or travel agent! I found out from now deleted Google reviews. To make things worse on the beach have been a nightmare finding me alternative accommodation stating this hotel was not advertised as adults only so they won’t match like for like. I’m a solo traveller specifically booked for adults only. They tried to offer me family resorts with water parks! This hotel is on all big travel agent websites along with booking.com etc and I had looked at a huge amount of hotels before booking! I’ve been so stressed trying to sort something else (got a refund in the end and booked elsewhere and sent a complaint to on the beach!) The travel agents are mis selling package holidays with this hotel and not making clear that all the photos are digital / artist impression (ie fake!!) there’s specific legislation that covers this for UK As for the hotel. They’re just as bad! Instagram posts stating they’re just getting the finishing touches ready! You’ll notice they’ve turned the comments off on social media… How people can be so dishonest is beyond me but I hope people will see this and avoid booking before it’s actually built as I don’t know how it is even allowed! Need to book another holiday to get over the stress of this one!
