It’s not quite where the main viewing areas are, but the location itself still offers spectacular views. In summary, it’s as close as you can get to a 5 star resort in the area, but there are a few areas, especially in terms of service, which could do with some improvements. Pros: - Beautiful location, we were even lucky enough to see the “sea of clouds” one morning - The hotel itself is beautiful, tranquil, probably as close as you can get to a luxury hotel in the area - Most of the staff are warm and helpful - Healthy and nourishing Chinese style breakfast - Delivering two glasses of warm milk to each room at night is a thoughtful touch Cons - Whilst most of the staff are warm, most are not professionally trained. As such they were ill-equipped to deal with unruly guests who disturbed others. At the front desk, they weren’t as helpful as the professionally trained concierges at the international trains - as an example we asked about hiring a driver and were given some business cards, but they couldn’t / wouldn’t give us any recommendations on what’s a fair price range. All we were told was that negotiations were up to us. Not helpful at all. - In a similar vein, the kitchen and wait staff were completely overwhelmed one night when there were two or three large groups (6 to 10 ppl) plus a few other tables for 2 to 3 ppl. This was partly due to an over zealous tour group leader wanting to inspect every dish that came out of the kitchen, regardless of whether the dish was meant for her group. The resulted in the rest of the diners waiting up to an hour for our food, even for something as simple as stir fried vegetables. - The resort had pretty low occupancy when we were there, and so there was no buffet breakfast during one of the mornings. Instead we were given a set breakfast of congee, rice noodles, fruit and fried eggs. This though wasn’t much of a problem for us as we still enjoyed the breakfast p. - The resort is located a little out of the way and not in a village, unlike the other hotels and hostels. As such, there are limited restaurant options and other facilities. You’re really just confined to eating at the hotel for breakfast and dinner.

棚田が見渡せる新しいホテル
Reviewed By Darriya日の出の時間、大混雑の展望台に行く気力はなかったので、こちらのホテルに宿泊しました。メインの通りから歩いて５分程のところにあります。各部屋は棚田に向かってガラス窓になっており、部屋の設備も綺麗でした。屋上テラスからも棚田がよく見えます。 近くに美味しい食堂があり、夕食はそこで頂きました。朝食はお粥、赤米の米線などでした。帰りに赤米をもらいましたが、香りも良く美味しかったです。 ただ、ロビーでスタッフがタバコを吸うので、非常にタバコ臭いです。

朝食は雲梯大酒店
Reviewed By Passport803402チェックイン時にパスポートを預けます。 デポジットと宿泊代を合わせて200元支払い、差額はチェックアウト時に返却してくれました。 朝食は徒歩１、２分のところにある、雲梯大酒店のレストランを利用します。 炒飯油条野菜炒め、目玉焼き、米線、面条と何れも美味しかったです。 備品は、歯ブラシと櫛と水2本、冷蔵庫はありませんが湯沸かしポットはあります。 バスチケットの購入にはパスポートが必要だと言ったら、 チェックアウト前にパスポートを返してくれました。

Good hotel shame about the hot water
Reviewed By chan_sysXianyun Shanju started off very promising indeed and looked warm and inviting when we arrived. We were able to get a room with three beds, each with its own electric blanket which was perfect for the cold January winter. The bed itself was very comfortable with a soft warm blanket, the room itself had good heating, TV (which took us a while to turn on since the sensor switch was at the back of the TV) and kettle. Now the bathroom was a little bit problematic. After a shower the whole floor is wet so don't leave anything on the floor inside. Also the bathroom has glass walls so if you want privacy all your other friends will have to stay inside the room (just hope no one comes in the door). But the worst thing is there is a limited amount of hot water, enough for maybe one or maximum two people to take a hot shower. After that you have to wait a few hours before someone else can take a hot shower. We made that mistake and one of us was caught without hot water mid-shower. Fortunately after some explaining (staff does not speak English) the receptionist let us use her bathroom but still we had to be mindful of how much hot water was left. Overall it would have been a great hotel for the price we paid had it not been for the hot water situation.

Excellent hotel
Reviewed By Michael PMost western travelers don't stay over night in Nansha, which is also known as Yuanyang or sometimes referred to as "New Yuanyang. But I spent two nights here as I wanted to visit a small village called Majie, which holds a market several times a week. This hotel is excellent, particularly when considering that the walk in rate that I paid was 120 RMB per night. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also large and very clean. The Wi-Fi worked well and the room had a good amount of amenities such as free water, tea, electric kettle and a refrigerator. There was even one English language channel on the television. For rural China this hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff at the front desk were very friendly as well. If there was some reason to stay in this town I good have easily spent more nights in this hotel. I would stay here again for sure.
