Reviewed By keechengThe staff were very friendly. There is no lift in hostel. We were located room at level 3. Not much guest during our stay in early May. Room was basic and beds were fitted with heater. We had our first night with water heater down and toilet bowl clogged. All were solved the next day. Around the hostel, there were Lots of eateries around as it's located in tourist area. Expensive food in this area. Lots of touts along the main road asking to join their tour and eat at their restaurant.

Its cute panda theme is ubiquitous and relentless: panda paintings, panda shaped beds, panda stuffed toys, panda soap dispensers. Other than the panda-inspired décor, it’s an adequate, functional small hotel. The rooms aren't exactly luxurious, being entirely tiled (no carpets), with a bedside table only on one side (at least in our room) of a very firm queen-size bed. The bathroom was okay, air conditioning worked well, and wifi was fast. If you’re just looking for something decent to spend the night, don’t need luxury and don’t mind being accosted by pandas in all shapes, forms, and instantiations at every turn, it’s a good and very reasonably priced choice (we paid USD 45 per night). The location is convenient to the high-speed rail Emeishan station, about a 10 minute walk, but not much else. No shops around, though an excellent and cheap courtyard restaurant (Pu Yuan) is just outside the front door. For coffee and a night cap we went to Anantara, a five-star resort about a 15-minute walk away. Note that the breakfast at Panda Inn is entirely geared towards Chinese, there are no Western options, not even toast, so either you need to love congee or bring provisions. If you must spend the night near Mt Emei, this is a reasonable option, but if I were ever to come back, I’d probably do a day trip from Chengdu.

Reviewed By NatashaLauOur private double room with heated floor was £35. I agree that coming here with zero Chinese language ability might be a bit tough but not impossible. Dinner was tasty. Everything on the mountain is expensive but it was a good dinner, don’t bother looking around as it’s just other hotels with their own restaurants attached so if you’re tired after a long hike up just take dinner at the hotel and then go rest. We had to ask reception to turn on our floor heating as they had to switch it on outside the room somewhere so make sure you ask about this straight away, as it then takes ages to warm up. They also seem to turn it off in the middle of the night which is a bit cheeky but not too much of a problem if you’re just getting straight up and out of bed for summit at sunrise like we did. The staff knock on your door at around 4am so you can climb to the summit. Some rooms have huge windows to the front of the building. Our room has a tiny window with zero view but we were there just to sleep so no bother to us.

Reviewed By AnandIf you book in advance, the price is definitely value for money. The rooms are rather basic but again, for this money you will not get two cups of coffee at Chengdu airport. The Baoguo temple bus stand can be reached by a 25 min walk or by bus within 7 minutes.

Reviewed By kitty KHotel decor is very nice. So is the room. However there is some problem with the plumbing for our room at the VIP floor and room a bit noisy as it was very close the elevator. However overall the hotel exceeds expectation.

Reviewed By 骑着单车去看海很不错的客栈啊！房间都很干净。可选择的房间种类很多。相信大家去几个人都可以住的下的。距离报国寺客运站走路3分钟左右。老板很是热情，晚上客栈是锁门的，非常安全。值得推荐！

Reviewed By 企鹅在努力为梦想挺可爱的酒店，有点像升级版的青旅，因为楼梯房间墙壁都是画的猴子，很萌~离上山买票的地方很近，旁边还有吃东西的地方很方便，有公交车到城里，交通也便利。楼下是餐馆和超市，早餐还不错。不是高级酒店，但是还算干净，有空调有WiFi。

A great place with easy access to the high-speed train station and the bus to Ermeishan
Reviewed By sun19802015We called the hotel on our high-speed train ride to Ermei. The beautify lady owner showed up at the train station to pick us up. The hotel provided us with free maps, walking sticks, and luggage storage. We had a family room; it actually has two rooms, one with a wide window. It is clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a small ally two small blocks away from the main bus station for ride to the trams to Ermeishan. The bus stop to the train station was right at the entrance of the small ally where the hotel is. We highly recommend anyone who is interested in climbing Ermeishan to stay there.

Reviewed By 葡萄打葡萄环境一般，设施比较陈旧，房间里面还有电脑可以上网，出门很方便，街对面就有夜市一条街，适合吃货去。但是宾馆的床不是太舒服，而且床上的卫生有点糟糕。
