Our room setup was amazing with freshly cut flowers,Thank You Halima We enjoyed the food prepared and cooked by Chef Said,the complimentary 5 o'clock coffee and cake tamu Sana..Asante sana Ambrose Rama the Manager; what an amazing human being? friendly,kind and courteous. For me it's the ocean!! so relaxing and serene...will definitely do it AGAIN.

A 20 KM long sandy beach between tropical forest and mangroves: Bahari Pori Bandas is an exclusive resort dedicated to those seeking unusual destinations and unforgettable experiences in an unspoiled natural environment.Surrounded by tropical vegetation a few miles from Pangani village, the resort is built according to the local architecture traditions with natural materials such as straw, coconut tree leaves, wood and stone. Emayani Beach Lodge features 12 en-suite coastal bandas, all within 50 meters of Ushongo Beach. Each banda has its own verandah and private parasol with beach-beds. EMAYANI has recently renovated the main lounge for a more spacious dining & lounge with a very colourful bar, giftshop. Enjoy a kilometer of quiet beach. From the lodge we operate a speedboat shuttle service to Kendwa, Zanzibar. Diving is seasonal. We offer windsurfing, kayaking and snorkeling trips to Maziwe Marine reserve. A paradise of beach solitude
Reviewed By John TThis is not our first visit to this wonderful gem hidden away on the Tanzanian coastline. It is easily accessible by plane via the KwaJoni airstrip that borders this lodge. Another option is the Emayani water taxi that travels to and from the northern tip of Zanzibar,. The bungalows are rustic but comfortable with good mosquito nets (a must on the TZ coast!) I would recommend Banda #10 as it is bordered by Australian pines that whistle you to sleep at night. The beach has no other walkers other than the local fishermen. You can walk north for an hour or two without meeting another tourist. The food is good and safe. Plenty of vegetables, fruit and seafood. The bar is well stocked. Don't miss the option for a snorkeling adventure on Maziwe Island. Ask how you can sponsor a hatching of sea-turtles. The internet connection is solid. Bring a book and relax!

Reviewed By makalatravelsWe went for an holiday at lushoto and decided to stay at the lodge. Wow, it's much more of an experience to it. It was worth it. We loved everything from customer services so responsive, the rooms were clean with towels, the heater, the bedroom with blankets, the food was delicious and well prepared, the great view so green area, the beautiful garden, the manager & the staffs were so helpful. I felt so cold cause of the weather and the manager helped me with his sweater cause I didn't have one, what a kindness! We recommend this accommodation to anyone who visits lushoto.

Reviewed By jitenvaithaA nice and clean hotel, located near the Irente view point which is just a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Nice rooms, you can wake up with amazing morning views of the valley. Staff was friendly, food was good with a couple of items to choose from the menu. Clean rooms.

We are located 1km North of Mkwaja in the district of Pangani, Tanga Region; approx 2km from the borders of Saadani National Park and 12km from it's entrance gate. Being so near to the park, our guests can soon find themselves off the beach and in minutes walking in the midst of wildlife. Karibuni!
A quiet and beautiful place in the heart of nature...
Reviewed By frankneumann2017We stayed in the Vagabond Lodge overnight as part of a Safari to Saadani National Park. It is located in a beautiful and quiet location close to the park directly at the shore. The main dining and reception hall is build around a huge baobab tree which gives it a wonderful feeling. The food was very good and they served us a lot. The bungalows in which we stayed are very beautifully decorated and very spacious. It felt like out of a dream. The night skies are amazing and we could see the Milky Way and the Magellan Clouds. Swimming with moonlight was also a wonderful experience. The beach is beautiful, clean and safe. I can strongly recommend staying there. We booked it and the safari trip with Nick at the Traveller's Lodge in Bagamoyo.

Unpleasant stay
Reviewed By Lukas VThe water from tap and shower is brown. When reporting the problem to the staf, they say this is normal during rain season. No mosquito net although windows and door are not sealed. Did not expect this kind of service for this price.

Spend 2 days here as part of a multi day hiking trip
Reviewed By Sten UI slept at this place on the first and last night of a 4 day hiking tour. I had an amazing time here! The owners made me feel very welcome. The accommodation is located in the scenic hillsides of Lushoto town. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody who wants to organises hiking trips or just wants to stay in a nice and quite place.

Reviewed By 400sinjavNo water, no wifi , no working Toilette. Very Bad experience. No service to Talk to After problems. 14Dollars are way too much money for this accomondation. Lushoto is nice and the Location is Good but its not worth the money.
