Not what we expected... and too hot in the room
Reviewed By PaulienVervoortWe booked the deluxe room. No pictures of the bathroom for this type of room which apparently was the same not renovated bathroom as for the standaard rooms. The room itself was a bit more modern (different floor and wall paper), that was nice. But, unfortunately there were a lot of other disappointing things... There is one sofa that has a big stain on it, the lightning in the room is very poor and the walls are very thin. The room is very hot because the heating is constantly on, although they said that it would turn off at 10 pm (it never did, it only turned off somewhere in the night). We had to sleep with the windows open, which is bad for the environment. The shower is a bath/shower. The shower spray was good but tall people don't fit under it. The bathroom is also quiet wet when you finished your shower. The shower spray is not properly placed behind the 'screen' that has to prevent that from happening. After one night the cleaning suff had made the bed again and put new towels. Als we were stayng here for more than 1 night, we didn't want unnessesairy water get spoiled and we also wanted to be at ease, so we asked the staff to not clean the room. The next day aigain the towels were new and the bed was made. The young lady of the reception apologised. She said that she was too late to tell the cleaning staff and therefore everything already has been done. But yet, again, the next day, same scenario... I was also very unhappy to notice that the last night of our stay all my personal belongings (including my dirty laundry) were organised in different piles! I don't like people touching my stuff... But the main problem was the heating. I reported it to this helpful lady of the staff. She informed for us and came back to us with the news that the heating is centralised, so unfortunately the problem didn't get solved during our stay. The breakfast was okay, it was a nice buffet. The only remark here is that they didn't seem to think about corona. No guidelines we're given. You didn't have to desinfect or wear gloves, which is not safe now. So no, I don't think we will be coming back here.

The Bed & Breakfast “Città Giardino” is located on the 1st floor of a detached “art decò” style house with large garden. The spacious and bright apartment with own separate access, has 2 bedrooms, a large shared bathroom and a dining room where breakfast is served. Wifi is provided free of charge and the large and well maintained garden is at your disposal to relax or enjoy breakfast. The B&B is located in the neighbourhood of Mirafiori (south of Turin), just a few kilometres from the motorway junction and a few minutes from the tram line number 4 that links Mirafiori with the city centre in just under 20-30 minutes. You'll be welcome by the owners in a friendly and discreet atmosphere, thoughtful towards the comfort of your stay and able to give you advice and information in English, French and Spanish.

The first inauguration of The Massimo Mila mountain hut was held on May 24th 2002, it was once, the accommodation of the Electrical central heating workers. The building is located at 1583 meters and looks out onto the lake of Ceresole Reale. It offers all the visitors comfortable accommodation both marriage room and dormitory, a reading room and a Restaurant providing all the specialities of the region, as for example, homemade pasta and cakes, and for meat lovers boar meat accompanied with polenta. The Orco Valley is also very famous for its Sport activities. Everyone will enjoy snowshoeing or skiing in winter and windsurfing, trekking or biking in summer and spring. Beside, don't forget to visit The Great Paradise natural park where it's easy to spot rock goats, groundhogs and a thousand different bird species. So come to visit us you won't regret it. The hut has two relax areas, and a wide library with any kind of guide book and photography book on the Gran Paradiso National Park. There is a nice dining room with a fireplace and a space to exhibit paintings and photographs, currently hosting a show of portraits on marmots, one of the symbols of the National Park. The external area has a big garden right on the lake of Ceresole Reale with wood tables and a big Gazebo to host gastronomic meetings, also Palamila, a wood covered theatre with a big stage to host operas, concerts, and any kind of events. Friendly, cosy and suggestive

However when my boyfriend and I came back this year we were happy to find the whole place reborn thanks to the care, the wonderful cooking and the worm hospitality offered by Roberto and Guela. The lake view and cozy rooms makes it the perfect destination for a romantic weekend getaway.

Reviewed By PeterShenyangWe quite literally fell upon this hotel as we were in nearby Bairo asking locals where to stay. At 'La Desiderata' the hospitality was as though we were a long lost family. A truly superb 3 day experience followed. Evening dinner put an end to my diet, as each of the five courses were delicious local cuisine with a fine local wine. The hotel decor and quality of rooms is first class and a measure of its popularity can be seen by the 100+ diners who come nearly every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from as far as Turin. This was truly a magnificent discovery with the beautiful city of Turin, only an hours drive south or a short train ride, and the historic 17th Century castle at Aglie a few hundred metres away. My wife and I had the most memorable time here and will certainly be back!

Especially, due to unexpectedly long hike, we arrived later than expected around 9.30pm, yet not only was nothing too much trouble keeping restaurant open, Paolo arranged to have us picked up by car at the bridge outside town. Restaurant meal excellent. Rooms recently refurbished and pleasant. I'd highly recommend a stay. Ben, Chester UK

A very nice place to stay!
Reviewed By PhatkevNice bar with friendly welcoming owner and staff. Good food both at lunchtime (self service) and evening in the restaurant. My room was very spacious with an excellent bathroom and shower. Good breakfast. Bruzolo railway station is less than 2 minutes walk away. I shall definitely return!
