NEVER AGAIN!!!

The owner declared the possibility of self-check-in. It turned out to be a lie, he didn't give us the keys. He was a few hours late, we waited in the rain all day (we only have one day in Bergamo so we didn't see anything in town). When he showed up, he was unpleasent. We stayed overnight there, even though we were completely stressed by his behavior. After all, we wanted to give the rating on the booking, but unfortunately we were blocked from doing so because the manager said to booking that we didn't stay there!!! I couldn't believe it. This is his way of getting rid of bad reviews. Booking didn't help us with this situation. Travel a lot and fortunately I don't meet people and places like this I hope it was the first and the last time.

Fantastic.

I didn't visit in 2015, it was way back in 2013 - my memory has just been jogged and I remembered I never left a review! We were on a big road trip around Europe, so there was a big group of us and 7 cars. Day we arrived at the hotel we were very late due to some horrendous rain and getting lost, the hosts were accommodating and stayed up to let us in. I think we stayed in total around 4 days here, it was absolutely fantastic from day one. The breakfast is your typical continental affair, and the dinners are excellent quality, homely Italian food. One evening we got back late, and the owner laid on a massive cold meat feast for us. The rooms are basic, but clean and have all the facilities you would need, it's not the sort of place you just sit in your room all day anyway. Fuipiano Valle is simply stunning, from waking up in the morning and looking out onto the rolling hills, to sat on the porch in the evening having a cold beer watching the stars. Beautiful scenery. Would go back any time.

Have just returned from our stay here. Everything was perfect, Very quiet location with perfect views. Our host was very helpful and delightful nothing was too much bother. Walking shoes would be recommended if you want to explore the woods. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. Waking up to cowbells was charming. Would definitely go back.

Cutest boutique hotel I have ever been to. A family run hotel with small but clean rooms . Great Italian food . Very nice people . Even the staff is great . I stay there regularly on my business trips as it is an industrial town , few such nice and cozily made hotels we can see anywhere . Feels nice and simple.

Great for a family ski weekend

Reviewed By IvBor

We were four families that booked a ski weekend (Fri to Sun). One family’s kid got sick on Thu, a day before our arrival, and the owners were kind enough to cancel their booking free of charge. The place is a ski in/out, only about 50m of walking to/from the slopes is required. The owners will help you with ski pass or lessons booking, if needed. Breakfast is basic/standard for places in the Italian mountains, with croissants, cookies, corn flakes, milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, etc. We were the only guests on Fri night, and got eggs & bacon for breakfast on Sat morning (not a standard - we got this special offer as we were few). Rooms are basic but nice, with comfortable beds and good heating. Each room has its own bathroom. No TV in the rooms. Both evenings we ate dinners in the hotel restaurant - there are few choices, but what is there is very tasty and made using local produce. I highly recommend polenta taragna, made with local cheese. No veggetables as sides, which would be a thing to improve. No TV (there is a TV in the restaurant, but no signal when there is snow), and WiFi is pretty bad, but I consider this a plus for a skiing weekend with friends. There is a big play area, where the kids got entertained for hours, as well as the owner’s friendly dog.

Da Noi Due

Heaven!

Reviewed By Rosh1888

We stayed 3 nights here during a recent trip to Bergamo & loved every minute of it! Location: the setting for the hotel is beautiful and so peaceful. Great security at night too with a remote control gate. Old town is about a half hour walk away (up a fairly steep hill!!) but it’s great to work up an appetite for dinner! We loved the walk before and after dinner! Rooms So clean and has everything you need. Cleaned daily as well. Nice area to sit outside and we had lunch here both days as the local supermarket is close by with all you need for lovely spread! Air conditioning unit, fridge and hairdryer all in the rooms. Grounds: They are so well maintained. Pool cleaned daily and gardens immaculate. Lovely places to sit both in shaded and sunny areas! Staff: Go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. They organised a taxi for us for a 5am departure as well as checking in with us daily. Fantastic! Breakfast: Grandmas croissants are worth the trip alone! Delivered to the room every morning, they are delicious! Milk, juice, yogurt, bread and fruit also provided. Coffee machine in room. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

The Village bed & breakfast

A Bit of a Surprise

Reviewed By Teesside-gordon

We had a couple of nights here, The Village B&B fitted the bill as we wanted something close to Bergamo and the Airport. It is a little difficult to find by car as the car parking is on a different road to the B&B. We we given directions which was fine but trying to find the B&B from the car park was a little tricky as it is located in part of a complex. The actual accommodation we had was a decent sized bedroom with large double bed and a very nice recently modernised bathroom, both clean and tidy. There is a shared lounge / breakfast area (I think 2 more rooms....we saw no one) Breakfast is a do it yourself affair however the owner Sabrina will provide almost whatever you want in the fridge for you just ask. Sabrina was very helpful in suggesting places to visit Good free wifi available. A bit of traffic noise early in the morning and the occasional aircraft passing overhead but actually not too bad. Not sure that there is much in walking distance but it is only a short drive to the old town.
