Great owners, great location
Reviewed By ChicagoViaLondonMarlen and Marco were there to greet us and welcome us with a cold drink and some good food. The room was great, with a balcony looking out to sea. Unfotunately, they only had a room available for one night as we came here over New Year, which is the busiest time of the year and the start of the school holidays. We were unaware of that heading up to Mancora, and found out the hard way that most most of Lima heads up there for New Year's Eve. After spending one night at Blue Ocean we had to leave and find other acommodation as they were already fully booked. This didn't work out too well for us, and on our third day in Mancora, we were ready to head south in search of another town and hotel. Marlen and Marco then offered to make us up a room in the staff area. The transformation from store room to bedroom was amazing, and we ended up staying for an additional 4 nights. The food was great, the beer was cold, the company was exceptional. And because of this, we stayed for longer than anticipated. The sunset from the roof terrace is the perfect way to start your evening, and a beer and cerviche is the perfect way to end the day. Cheers to you both. An unforgettable trip.

Small familiar housing located to few meters of the beach. It has five rooms, between couple room, three beds and four beds, all with water, TV with cable and DVD, fun, terrace and hammock. It offers delicious breakfasts with fruits and cereals. Wi-Fi's service in all the facilities, Service of change of money, guardaequipaje, parking and movements to the airport.
Quiet clean and friendly
Reviewed By Aaron HWe booked 3 nights here and ended up spending 10! Jesse and Teresa are very helpful and friendly. They had breakfast for us every day, did our laundry and cleaned our room on a regular basis. There is no hot water, but after a day on the beach, a cool shower is nice. The outdoor shower can be a bit warmer with better water flow than the one in the room. We were here over a National holiday and I think it was one of the quietest places in Mancora. A short walk to town or the beach or a 2 sole motto ride will get you anywhere you need. I would stay here again with my family.

The hotel has a "nice vibe", the hosts were very kind, and the guests that arrived (mostly couples) were very "chill". And the food was the best! I was surprised because they don't have that many rooms, but they have a wide variety of dishes and what I tried (Ceviche, Tiradito, Fried Calamari, Jalea, Causa) was SO good. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By Evp70Realmente una experience inolvidable,mi esposa y yo pasamos unos dias en la cabana frente a la playa y escuchar el ruido de las olas era totalmente relajante....ni que hablar de la atencion de la Sra Maria, la comida y nuestros amigos Sombra, Motyluna y Tigre...100% recomendable. We came from Florida where we have nice beaches but this secluded place was truly paradise. Such a rustic and relaxing place. No need to venture off the property. We spent our days sitting on the beach enjoying the beautiful ocean view and our evening eating delicious food and drinking ice cold beer at the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Falta ventilación
Reviewed By fiorellas53Estuvimos en una habitación doble, la cual era muy pequeña, casi no se podía caminar y el baño era muy reducido, a las habitaciones les falta mayor ventilación, tuvimos que dormir con la puerta abierta para que entre aire ya que no bastaba el ventilador, además el wifi no llegaba a la habitación. La ubicación no es como indican en la descripción, está ubicada aprox a 10 minutos de la plaza de la ciudad y a 200 o 300m de la playa.

Horrible Experience
Reviewed By 985John5Horrible experience - no one spoke a lick of English and the place is bug infested yet there are no mosquito nets or bug repellent. I ended up in a Lobitos hospital by staying here. Ridiculous for the price compared to the rest of Lobitos that guests are not provided with mosquito nets to protect from bug/insects.

Simple, but perfect.
Reviewed By Companion794541Spotless, minimalist, and quiet. We were totally happy with the place. Away from the noise of town, but only a 5 minute walk from the beach, restaurants, and nightlife. The man running it was friendly and helpful, but not in our space at all. I would stay again definitely.

Reviewed By CholomexPor trabajo me hospede una semana y todo fue muy bien. Personal atento, limpieza, aire acondicionado que es valorable en la calida Piura, y sobre todo gran ubicación. Muy cerca hay varios restaurantes, bancos, supermercado y a media cuadra de la Ave. Gardia Civil una de las más importantes y continuación de Sanchez Cerro. Te sirven en las mañanas a la habitacion un Desayuno sencillo pero bien presentado con Cafe, Pan, mantequilla, mermelada, Un Jugo y algo para agregar al pan. También en el 2o piso hay una mesa de SELF SERVICE las 24 hrs que incluye poderse preparar un cafecito o Té, o bien calentar algun delivery. Hospedaje altamente recomendable
