Good-old charm right in the City
Reviewed By RahMehRight in the City. Good old property. Decently good. But clean and hygienic. Very basic services available with modest staff & service. Restaurant is good. Availability was limited at this time, may be due to Covid issues & less tourist. Not good for any Kanchanjunga views. Low rise building & lot of obstructions. Breakfast was good and served hot despite the cold temps. Rooms service equally good and tasty food. Rooms are good. Our came with sofa & separate seating area. Clean toilet. Hot water available. #24

Reviewed By JijiJ116Stayed here for 2 days... guest should take into consideration that Pelling is a small hill town located at an altitude of 7,200ft. Spacious room, they provide 2 blankets which is a big relief since it was 4 degrees C when i visited. Hot water is very much available and the food is just like home-cooked meals - warm and decent. The rooms are cold so definitely, guests should wear warm clothes. The staff is very accommodating and supportive, the common balcony offers a magnificent view of Kanchenjunga. Decent stay.

Not clean
Reviewed By Josefa_rieutordThe room is big, but not clean. The sheets looked dirty and the blankets stinks. The hotel is very noisy. There is a construction next to the hotel and we also could heard everything from the upstairs floor. And also the staff is a bit noisy. One morning when we were having breakfast they started flighting in the kitchen, struggleing in between of two of them. The breakfast is poor and again, our second morning there we went around 9am to have the complementary breakfast and no one was around there to prepare our food. The staff was sleeping and the kitchen closed. Around 10 am the manager came to tell us they would prepare a delicious Indian breakfast (they knew they made a mistake).

Reviewed By durgaranjithRooms are pretty big and clean. Staff is very friendly. Food is delicious. They have board games and books to read as well. The rooms has a good view towards Mountains. Overall I am very satisfied and it was a pleasant stay.

Reviewed By traveltouchesmysoulA very very hospitable staff..⭐⭐ They packed my wine bottles which remained secure in the flight. Food was good... too.. . They had nice soup and snacks. . paragliding happens right next to the hotel... There are some decent eating places very close to the hotel including a very nice bakery. Next to the hotel there ie a little cafe too.. p. s. just no lift.

Reviewed By aarnatravelblogsWe stayed in this hotel for one night. Rooms are of average size, they gave 2 blankets. Bathroom was not very clean, we requested to clean it again. There were very minimal bathroom toiletries present. You have request for everything. Very less staffed hotel and staff seemed very disinterested and tired. We ordered dinner , dal, chawal, chicken and roti. Dal looked stale , chicken was uncooked in a spicey gravy. The food was horrible, we had to eat dry rice since nothing else is available near by hotel. For breakfast they had only aloo paratha, which again as per other guests was not good. We skipped breakfast and left the hotel as early as possible. Overall it was not a good choice to stay when you are on a vacation, I would recommend to avoid booking a room here.

Reviewed By gsR7750DNWe stayed in Mystic Pelling Resorts, Pelling for 1 night as part of the package of SOTC. Positives: 1 .Nice Manager and Staff 2. Breakfast was good and very well organized. Bread Slices were toasted and kept ready. So no waiting time for guests this activity. An excellent idea. 3. Breakfast room is very good, spacious with plenty of tables and chairs. 4. Easy to locate. Issues: 1. Rooms are in a very poor condition in all aspects. 2. The wooden flooring is completely damaged and my family almost met with an accident while coming out of bathroom to room. 3. No chairs. 4. No Channels on TV though TV is powered. 5. No WI-Fi. 6. Very steep stairs and no lift. 7. We got -3rd floor. IE we had to walk up 3 floors to reach reception from our room. 8. Senior citizens will face difficulties.

Very comfortable, easy to reach, exceptionally warm service, tasty food & the view is breathtaking. It’s located differently than others, yet is at the prime location. I’ve visited here & now it feels like a dream I wish to relive again & for longer.

Hotel is not good
Reviewed By Ranjan GI stay there for 4 nights, because I have booked in advanced due to pick time. We stayed at first floor delux room. But rooms are not cleaned properly. Spider and other insect always there. Oneday morning my wife found her hand full of insect bite. I always carried medicine, so did not get trable. Lights are not working. They do not clean rooms everyday. Their restaurant also not so good. Food is not very tasty. According to me it is over priced. Stuffs behavior is good, but not professional.

Reviewed By Indrajit_BubluTruly justifies the name .A real decent hotel situated in upper Pelling.One can have a great view specially in the top floor room.Nice Staff and good fooding.Choose for food inclusion package as there is not very good options nearby. The best thing is that it is just steps away from the helipad from where one can had a great view of the Kanchenjunga range and if you are lucky enough to stay on a full moon night its HEAVEN
