Do not Trust Hotel
Reviewed By khalilalarehI made a reservation through booking.com at The ray Hotel for 8 nights early of April as my stay is on 16th of May ..the Hotel tried many times to charge my credit card I contacted the Hotel they mentioned that my reservation is Non Refundable and they must charge my credit Card earlier and they canceled my reservation I made another one Refundable with free cancellation they did the same scenario and tried to charge my credit card, I called the Hotel again (international calls cost me than room rate honestly ) and they recommended to cancel my reservation through Booking.com and decided to make it through Hotel directly they mentioned this is the only way to stop trying to charge your credit card!! They kept pushing to cancel the reservation through booking.com We arrived the Hotel early the staff was very nice upon Check In and gave early check IN , but unfortunately I was surprised as there was 20% Commission for credit card payment As we checked and called hotel before if we can pay by credit card no one mentioned Commission !!!! Standard Room view is miserable and noisy we can’t sleep because front of the parking moreover no privacy we asked to change the room to a same category with quite & better view as we are a honeymooners as well and they kept mentioning that there is …..said will do their best at the first day to change the room, they offered a 600$ for the whole stay for upgrading us only to the next category…the second day we passed to the front desk and they offered 300$ …third day I showed them that Booking.com offers totally different rate for supplement at 110$ so they made a discounted rate as booking and this was inconvenient!!! Moreover I asked for invoice until now I did not receive it !!! I am very disappointed and I can’t trust Hotel again! This is not professional at all.

Tasteless food with over valued prices in the hotel's restaurant
Reviewed By K3351PDkevinhOverpriced food with no taste. The operator is friendly and helped us a lot. When we called to order and checked their menu on the internet as the operator asked us to do. We ordered up to 4 platters. First of all the order arrived cold . The prices were not the same as the internet and the food was tasteless. We started laughing and wished that we have ordered from a snack not an hotel it would have been better.We all understand the economic situation in lebanon but these prices are overpriced ! The food quantity in the platter is poor as well. We ordered a kafta platter that came with 2 pieces of kafta and a side salad and fries only !! everyone knows that with the kafta we put hummus and onions and at least bread !!

Reviewed By Child YAt first it looked good but that was the biggest regret in the world,I went there for the Beijing Olympics I was a Norwegian guy and I took my family,the rooms are as dirty as a garbage can incredibly stinky food I found in 1 night 3 cockroaches that were ALIVE and the bathrooms were filled with pee on the floor

Peaceful getaway in a gorgeous area
Reviewed By Jazz KThe owner Mr. Issa welcomed us despite the cold weather as we were keen on staying in one of his chalets after having read the positive reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the cuteness of the venue and the interior of the chalet, just as the photos show. It’s very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities needed including 24h electricity and internet. A very good breakfast was served the next morning in the comfort of our room and Mr. Issa continually made sure that we were enjoying ourselves and everything was going well. Although it was very cold outside (it’s March in Deir el Qamar after all!) we felt warm enough inside the cozy room ☺️ On the way back, we forgot a jacket but Mr. Issa very kindly had it delivered to us in the city after two days ?? Truly scellent service and very welcoming and charming place overall, we highly recommend it!

Reviewed By sallikhamisWhen I saw the place online I fell in love and said we def. need to go for a couple of days. When I went I was really disappointed. The staff is not very friendly and also the hype over the climbing is so limited, you are actually done in literally 30 min. So what’s next? I mean the forest is beautiful and the wooden huts are cute and all but def. not worth but a day trip. Not sure how it would be in winter with snow everywhere maybe it would be more bearable because it was also pretty hot not to have any swimming opportunities. I def would not go again.

Reviewed By SgwV90Great service, wonderful food, good wines, clean and comfortable rooms. Everything feels fresh and friendly. The place is very green and has a historical feel. Despite the current difficult power situation in Lebanon, there were zero power cuts in our rooms at Al Haush. The shower pressure is amazing, they have an organic farm and sell locally produced foods and shower items at their shop at a friendly price. Would definitely recommend!

A 200 years old traditional Lebanese house owned by the Trad family since the 1980's. It is now open to guests for relaxing fun times. Functional all year round, with a pool in the summer and fire places in the winter, Beit Trad rests in the middle of a large green property with a small pine tree forest at the entrance. We have full restaurant services with home cooked Lebanese food, and in-room spa services. Hiking, wine tasting, monastery visiting, site visiting (Byblos is 30 minutes away) and other activities are available in the immediate surroundings. And during the winter season, the skiing resorts are 40 minutes away.

Reviewed By farah_maaI spent 2 days at Liphe to disconnect and unwind from my busy life and it was the best decision. The food was amazing, the energy was out of this world, the activities (yin yoga & aqua gym) were great, the infrared sauna and massage were the cherry on top. Samar and Amal are wonderful & very generous hosts. My retreat was everything I needed & more. I left Liphe very relaxed and spiritually aligned. Will definitely come back.

Ask for the amazing Sleiman.

PineVille Lebanon provides Great Experience, Fun and Relaxation. Our compound includes cozy and fully-equipped modern wooden chalets. Chalets are situated in the middle of a Pine forest with an amazing view.

Reviewed By Rami OVery nice place, overwhelming view, and the bungalows are very clean and nice as shown in the pictures. The backyard is private and has a very beautiful view. The room service was good, the kitchenette is properly equipped with everything u might need.
