Sand in My Shoes Beach Loft is a 9-room size boutique resort, clean, private and cosy. Located right on the best swimming beach of Koh Phangan, Thongnaipan Noi beach. Surrounded by tropical plants, and lovely garden creating a relaxing atmosphere. Guests most reviewed beautiful rooms, unique with personal touch and well design decoration details including well modern luxurious and functional. Clean and most comfortable bed and friendly staff are also in good reviews. The owner is also a long time professionally work in design carrier. A sun terrace and view of the sea that guest can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant, which also has received amazing reviews. To enjoy a nice evening dinner on the beach, the pizza, cocktails, signature food and fresh coffee are fantastic. Each room includes a flat-screen TV and Netflix, and high speed internet is free. The bed provided is comfortable with a premium mattress. Rooms also come with a safety deposit box, an electric kettle and other necessary amenities. The private bathroom is fitted with a hairdryer, slippers and shower facilities. Free kayaks and paddle board are available. The beach is not too crowded with tourists so here’s the best place to relax and chill and enjoy this paradise!
Amazing boutique hotel on the nicest beach
Reviewed By littlemacnycMy husband and I had only booked for 1 night originally but after arriving and being greeted so warmly by Taylor, seeing the beautiful room and swimming in the incredible sea right off the hotel, we extended for 5 days. At the end we still didn’t want to leave. We found this to be the perfect place to relax _ by day we swam, took the kayak to a nearby beach, ate great pizza at the hotel, enjoyed breakfasts cooked to order at the hotel, had beers at sunset and walked to the town in 5 minutes for amazing and inexpensive massages. Regarding restaurants in town, we really enjoyed the French Thai place (Luca?) and the place where there is a sole woman chef. The hotel is owned by an interior decorator and the rooms are decorated with great attention to detail. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The hotel is small and quiet -only the sounds of the ocean at night. It’s wonderful to hear the rain on the roof as well. We enjoyed our days and nights so much we didn’t even rent a scooter to explore the east side of the island. We coupled our stay here with a hotel near the full moon party beach and I feel the juxtaposition of the 2 experiences was perfect. We are already discussing when we can return to Sand in My Shoes. It’s a must_ whether you are solo, a couple or a family with 3 kids. Kudos to Taylor and the owner- well done! Also, we are beach snobs and this was hands down one of the most spectacular beaches we have ever been to _ the sand, the water, the waves. Perfection.

Seaboard Bungalow is located in the middle of Haad Yao one of the best beaches in Koh Panghan. A big bay of white powder sand, perfect to lie down, to walk, to make jogging, to chill out with a cocktail or smoking a shisha at our beach bar, open till late without disturbing your sleep. The perfect beach to let your kids playing and swimming while you enjoying a Thai massage in our hut on the beach in front of a breathtaking sunset. We have 15 large and bright bungalows with air-con, fridge, hot water, TV at different rate, one on the beach, others front beach, others with sea view. Backpackers are welcomed, 5 wooden bungalows are just waiting for you, all with sea view and hammocks. All bungalows have balconies and are very near to the beach. No shoes needed! Flowers, palms, fruit trees are all around the resort that is managed by an Italian couple supported by an Italian chef who served delicious Italian food together with Thai specialties at the beach restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, familiar and easy going. You can ask for diving, snorkeling, fishing or island tour. Haad Yao beach is only 20 minutes from the main town and arrival/departure piers. Nearby, on the main road, you can find bikes for rent, shops and mini markets. In the night you can hang around bars with live music and small parties even if Haad Yao remains a relaxed spot on the most famous parties' island of Thailand.
A good option in Haad Yao

The rooms are simple but have everything you need for a beach stay, which I think is what you want when traveling to Haad Yao. Both Paola, the owner, and Alex, the general manager, are very friendly people and always available for any kind of help if you need it. Next August I will be travelling there once more.

Quiet paradise
Reviewed By willdownesPerfect if you need a break on your travels from the craziness of socialising and non stop moving. Located on bottle beach it’s self. It’s tranquil quiet and like paradise. Difficult to get to seen as can only be entered by boat or 4x4, but in my opinion made more of an experience. Staff were great and accommodated to all our needs from food, drink, washing, taxis. Incredibly priced and would recommend for the quieter side or the island !!

Place with the best location, gorgeous and very helpful staff, amazing food (strongly recommend their fish burger). Very cozy bangalows fully aircon and reasonable price right by haadrin beach where the full moon happens. It is a go to!

Reviewed By KellieB912Travelled with husband and 2 teenagers (16 & 14) Lovely warm welcome at this property and the room was ready much earlier than expected which was a huge bonus for us. The food in the restaurant was also excellent and would highly recommend eating here. So tasty and great value The pool was sufficient and the beach area was lovely too. The reception also offered a laundry service which was great and they also ordered taxis for us including to the full moon party Overall a great stay and would highly recommend this. Notes to add but this isn't a negative as it didn't bother us in the slightest. The sunbeds were a bit uncomfortable if you didn't have one of the soft pads on.

It is okay, but….
Reviewed By stephanieh272If you do not have too many requirements and do not expect much, then Phangan Cove is sufficient. We have been here for a bit longer and it was okay but next time I would definitely look for an alternative. We as family do not need much but especially when travelling with a baby, it is nice if the places you go to are at least clean- that is probably what bothered me most about the resort. I try to list the positive and negative things below: Positive: • It is not directly next to the street • It is next to a beautiful beach that is not as crowded as other beaches • Staff is nice and tries to accommodate everything you ask for • Very children friendly • Bungalows are individually equipped with sufficient space • Large beds and the mattresses are not worn (they are actually quite hard, if not too hard) • The food in the restaurant in the resort is good and well presented • Next to the Phangan Cove is the Monkey Bar, the perfect place to relax in the evening Negative: • The “road” from the street to the resort is hardly existing, very bumpy and hardly illuminated • The bungalows need modernization • The pictures in the internet do no longer reflect reality • The outside furniture is broken and need to be exchanged • The bungalows are not clean and cleaning is done not properly (e.g. mold in the bathroom, spider webs, bed linen had holes and were not exchanged regularly, mosquito nets had holes) • The bungalows do not close properly, meaning there are either cracks in the rooftop or the window frames or the door so that bugs, mosquitos, etc. can easily get in • Beside the many mosquitoes and cases of dengue, the staff does not close the door of the bungalows while cleaning resulting in mosquito hunting every night • The bungalow at the beach next to the Monkey Bar the most expensive one and the noise from the bar can be heard in that bungalow loud and clearly; however, the resort does not proactively inform about it • Sewage water from the shower is just running out of the building into nature, partially on steel sheets laying around which makes quite some noise • Around the resort it is quite dirty and when it is raining heavily, the entrance is flooded • In the restaurant you have to pay for everything including glasses that may have been broken or a little piece of vegetable or fruits for babies • If you pay by credit card, they charge 3% in addition, even for the security deposit which, at least in Europe, is illegal. When addressing the topic, the staff all of a sudden does not speak English any longer.

Not only a beautiful nicely decorated place but shamazing gorgeous owners ?❤️? ?️?. From the seconds I placed a phone call to reserve a table till we left. Everything was perfect. Romantic atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Food is divine and succulent. Desserts are mouthwatering. We also enjoyed the chat with such beautiful sincere and utterly friendly ladies. Absolutely a must to come in and unwind and have quality food that is made with LOVE ? My friends and I are planning to have a farewell dinner again before we leave the island ? next week. Love - Lee

Fair price, fine rooms, terrible staff
Reviewed By KevernscottWe stayed one night at the Pier when our ferry was cancelled at the last minute. It was conveniently located and met our needs. Firstly the positives: the room was clean and price was right. It was easy walking distance to the ferries and to a nice food market. That said, on the whole this place could be so much more. However, staff literally could not have been more rude. Closing the bar early, but being quite happy to sit around with their friends drinking. Also, we were not given a hammock despite this being a feature of staying here. Lastly, the location while convenient is on a rather characterless beach that is frequented by stray dogs that move in packs and really made a pest of themselves. The furniture is old and breaking down and the whole resort looks in a state of decline. As mentioned, the price is fine though I believe for a similar price you can stay at a location where staff are at least a little pleased you're there. Not my favourite, but also not the worst. I'd give 2 1/2 stars if possible.

Thai Terrace is a friendly, family-run resort. We are located at the beautiful bay of Thong Nai Pan Yai. All our bungalows are built in traditional Thai-style. The bungalows are surrounded by a typical Thai garden. You find us in the middle of the village, together with the Siam House Restaurant. All our rooms have a big bed, wardrobe, wlan, and off course a hammock on the large balcony, for your chill out time. Thai Terrace is only a 3min walk away from the beach, or 30 seconds with the motorbike. Our staff trying the best for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Our long-time employees are also the reason, for which reason a lot of our guests come back every year, and to feel in the Thai Terrace well and freely. It would be nice if you become a part of the family

Reviewed By James LThis gym has been a mainstay in Haad Rin for many years. The Gym has everything you need. It’s reasonably priced and has friendly, helpful staff. The Muy Thai program is great for martial arts enthusiasts.
