Reviewed By Mayank Pwe have visited the hotel on 6the december 2020 on 12 pm and after payment he offer very much less size room ,and there are no a switch available ,no fan regulater there, tv not working please don't visit if u visited there on your own risk ,he charged 1600 rs and we visited 2am and check out on 10;30 pm in the night , room size may be 8*9

The Central was established in 1932 in the service of the public. It's totally devoted to Hindu religion - a temple is there, all costs are allowed to stay there. There are 51 rooms near the railway station just one minute walk, free parking, 8000 square feet open to sky space for our guest, every rooms is widely made with each front are clear 6.5 feet wide baranda. Bathrooms have new look, new amenities like 24 hour cold & hot water.

Reviewed By garhwaliyaThe location is very good, hotel prices are not very expensive, services are very fast. Reception staff behavior is very good. They guided us for local food places in the vicinity for the dinner. It was good selection of restaurants.

Denied Room Despite Confirmed Booking Via Booking.com
Reviewed By OnlyVivianFernandesHi, I had booked a room at this place via Booking.com because I had stayed there in March, 2019. I re-confirmed a few hours before arrival on 12/9/2019 when OYO sent me a prompt. But when I reached the hotel, I was turned back. So was another guest who had pre-booked a room. The hotel owner said he had terminated his contract with OYO but OYO kept sending guests. I was referred to an OYO executive who, after a while, refused to entertain my calls. The hotel had no rooms for spare. It had sold even the ones booked via the booking sites. My suggestion to OYO guests traveling to Kanpur and other cities of UP is to confirm and reconfirm. Contracts don't seem to have any sanctity in the state. Luckily, I found a better place, closeby in the Civil Lines area: The Villa. It is an old mansion converted into a hotel. The rooms are spacious, the common areas are commodious, the toilets are clean, and the staff is courteous and helpful. I would not have discovered it, but for the spat between OYO and its franchisee.
