Beautiful dinner on the terrace
Reviewed By SheridanFearnUpon arriving at the hotel (a short walk from catching the boat from Bellagio) you take the lift to the lobby, where you’re greeted by very helpful friendly staff. We were taken through to the bar area to have a drink, situated at the front of the hotel, given a great variety of snacks but very limited drinks menu choices on a falling apart menu, we were sat in the corner out the way on tired looking furniture and almost felt forgotten and worried about our decision to dine here knowing the prices. The gentleman serving the tables did seem slightly under staffed. Upon 7.30pm when dinner opened, we asked to be taken through to the restaurant, we were greeted by well dressed men in black tie dinner wear who sat us at the front of the terrace over looking the lake. The service from all members of staff here was exceptional, treated like royalty and very friendly, sharing their experiences of visiting the UK. The gold leaf risotto was incredible - no wonder it’s been a favourite for 40 years (certificate was given to prove it too!) the food, view and service was faultless. Would definitely recommend to go but don’t bother having drinks before!

The hotel "La Perla" is located in charming "Tremezzina", away from noisy streets but with a wonderful view over Lake Como. It is an oasis of peace and tranquillity where you will always be hospitably received by our friendly staff. The hotel is beautifully framed in olive beams, a great place to spend your holidays. All our rooms are tastefully and elegantly furnished and offer a fantastic panorama view over Lake Como.

Reviewed By BrownSawtellA small family run hotel up on the hill in a peaceful location away from the noise by the lake. The staff really made the difference. They were so helpful and friendly. We ate dinner at the hotel twice during our stay. A small menu but very tasty and to sit on the terrace with a spectacular view of the lake was very special. There is parking on site which is a bonus and a very nice swimming pool. It's a 15/20 minute brisk walk downhill to the lake and ferry point. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Nelle vicinanze dell’Hotel potete trovare la famosa Villa Carlotta e il Parco Mayer. L’imbarcadero si trova esattamente di fronte all’Hotel, le fermate di autobus e trenino sono a pochi passi. L’Hotel Bazzoni ha un incantevole vista su Bellagio e Villa Melzi e dispone di Wi-Fi in tutta la struttura, tre Bar, tre ristoranti, Piscina, ampia zona prendisole e Jacuzzi.
Great hotel
Reviewed By Brecken76Enjoyed our stay at Bazzoni. Our room was very clean, serviced daily, had quiet efficient air conditioning, plenty of coat hangers and a very comfortable bed. Wi-fi was reliable and good in our room and around the hotel. The pool area was clean and there were as many loungers as the space allowed for. We particularly enjoyed eating outside on the pizzeria balcony when the weather allowed with beautiful views across Lake Como. Other restaurant choices were the main restaurant with inside and outside eating areas where the the food was fine. The n26 a la carte restaurant, also with indoor and outdoor eating areas, served a more interesting menu and very good food. There is a pleasant bar area with a range of seating which had live music most nights when we were there, although it was too loud for our taste. Bazzoni’s location is great, the lake ferry is just across the road, there are shops, restaurants and a pretty park nearby. This is a 3 star hotel but everything was done well.

Super Place for Fiftieth Anniversary

We stayed at La Darsena in 2013 and decided it was the perfect place to celebrate our 50th anniversary. It is a small family-owned and run albergo. Many of the rooms have balconies overlooking the mountain encircled lake. The father is the owner of this moderately sized and welcoming property, with one son managing and the other son is the chef. We never thought we would plan on four dinners at our hotel, but with the diverse menu including fish from the lake, risotto, veal, and pork, it was easy. Our room was spacious and able to accommodate my wife’s wheelchair even though it was not designated as an accessible room. Using a portable stool and movable shower head the large tub, the room met our accessibility needs.

Good location
Reviewed By MN2300Villa Edy is located up a steep little path or road and has rooms with a great lake view. We had a deluxe double room with a nice balcony. The room was very clean, a little sparse but had what you needed. The staff was friendly and if you needed something at breakfast, you could just ask and they would try their best to accommodate. The breakfast was ok. There is a little path that leads down to the lake, quite steep – fine in the morning, but hard in the evening after a busy day. There are several restaurants in the area and it is also easy to catch the ferry to visit other places at Lake Como. There is a large free parking area at the hotel, so that is not a problem. It is a good spot for exploring Lake Como.

Casa Lumaca fa parte di un grande palazzo risalente tra la fine del 600 e gli inizi del 700 oggi frazionato in alcune unità abitative, Casa Lumaca è stata completamente ristrutturata cercando di mantenere lo stile originario del palazzo di cui faceva parte. Ha un giardino privato, si trova a soli 10' a piedi dal lago e dal famoso Parco Teresio Olivelli da cui è possibile entrare direttamente nell'acqua attraverso una scalinata in pietra. Casa Lumaca si trova in Tremezzina, vicino a Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbiano e Balbianello e al Santuario del Sacro Monte di Ossuccio. Vicino anche al ferry di Cadenabbia per raggiungere i villaggi sull'altra sponda: Bellagio, Varenna, Bellano, Nesso. Dista 20 Km da Como, 70 da Milano; 1 h di auto dalla Valtellina e dalla bella Chiavenna; 3 ore da Saint Moritz.

Reviewed By Vancy69Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Wunderschön eingerichtete und modernisierte Zimmer und Bäder. Schön restaurierte Details des alten Gebäudes. Schön angelegter großer Garten zum Verweilen. Sehr einladender kleiner Frühstücksraum mit altem Kamin. Der Eingang zum Haus ist nur zu Fuß erreichbar, sind aber nur 100 Meter. Parkmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe.
