Reviewed By V9662OIkatemLovely warm welcome where they couldn't do enough for us. Immaculate room and extremely comfy bed. Just off the Square with its bars and restaurants and a stones throw from the beach. Very peaceful. A truly lovely place to stay.

Reviewed By rosielaraaliceGeorge Apartments is a very special place... Built by Grandfather George, who was born on Tilos, and run by his son Marcos. The hotel is a simple yet beautiful building, with traditional mosaic central courtyard and lovely hand-made wooden shutters in beautiful tones of blue - all the work of George. The ground floor terrace is shaded by a canopy of bougainvillea and stephanotis, the first first floor rooms have shaded balconies looking out over these flowers to the sea at the bottom of the hill. The apartments are perhaps two minutes walk down hill to the town beach, past a square of tavernas & mini market. There is a baker a block away. The town beach is pebbly and the water is wonderfully clear, boarding the beach are tamarisk trees and a wooden walkway of two kilometers around the bay, at one end of the walkway is the small harbour. On the other side of this walkway are the various B&Bs, hotels & excellent tavernas. And that is Tilos main town - small, laid back, delightfully old fashioned, There are other beaches on the island, some are even sandy, but we found the town beach charming and didn't bother looking elsewhere. Our room at George Apartments was on the first floor, so we had a small balcony with table and chairs, perfect for evening drinks and a shady lunch spot. The room had a large wardrobe, desk and chair, air conditioning, bathroom and small kitchenette - everything we could need. George and his wife are wonderful hosts, extremely helpful, everything from driving us up to the exquisite monastery of Pandeleimonas to waking in the middle of the night to deliver our bags to the 4am ferry... He would not take no for an answer. This really is a special place, I recommend it 101%.

I had a reservation since june 2021 and when i sent an email the day before our arrival, the man told me by email that the hotel was closed !! If i wouldnt had sent a message, i would have had the surprise to find a close gate there ! Be careful !

But I called two months in advance Ismini and Petros and asked for a favour from them in order to ''organise'' a pleasant surprise for two of my friends, who were about to travel from the UK and at Castellania. Ismini was very kind and helpful from the outset. She immediately accepted to organise my wish and kept it secret until the last moment. My friend was amazed and shocked by the gift that was ''waiting'' for them in the room! I had this idea but wouldn't be able to make it true without Ismini and Petros help. This is pure ''hospitality from the heart!'' My thanks and gratefulness to them, also, for the gift the sent me to the UK, with the returning friends.

It’s right on the beach so you’re literally a pebbles throw to the farm cool water of the sea. Lovely and cosy hotel which leaves you wanting more of this quiet and beautiful island

The use of the Pool at the families other property, Irini Hotel, is an added bonus. Wonderfully clean rooms in an ideal location and we would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here when visiting Tilos

Reviewed By Inna_K_StModest but comfortable rooms, big balcony where could have breakfast. Not on the beach but very close. The owner met us at the port and drove us to the hotel. Same on our way back. It was very kind of her!
