Birthplace of poet Dylan Thomas, and the second-largest city in Wales, resilient Swansea offers a slew of leafy parks and some impressive cultural centers, including the new National Waterfront Museum and the renowned Dylan Thomas Centre. Great for exploring The Gower

Excellent value location to explore Oxwich Bay and Rhossili. The hotel receptionists were excellent. They were friendly and knowledgeable about local area. The room was large, comfortable and lived up to our expectations of Premier Inn. The on site restaurant had good choices and great value. We had a great deal for breakfast and evening meal. Although there were other pubs/ restaurants close by we decided to stay at the hotel for evening meal as we had a long day exploring The Gower coast. The price of the room was great.

Nothing as I expected

Reviewed By UnknownWomen

We stayed for two nights and the only time room service came was when we was leaving. We never had a change of towels, bins not emptied, no restock of tea, sugar etc and the room wasn’t cleaned, we never received room service during our stay. The room on arrival didn’t smell nice at all, we had to air out the room while we was out by leaving the window open. When you open the curtains your greeted by scaffolding and the pancakes are meant to be American style pancakes but there the same as buying a pack of pancakes from Tesco. Also the quests above us were very noisy, children running around, banging in the AM. My brother stayed at the city centre branch which was a lot nicer and cheaper. I will not be staying at the sea front one again, I will either stay at the city centre one or a complete different hotel all together.

Poor

I stayed a night for a work trip. Firstly there was a wedding going on when I arrived which was fine but no one was on the desk to check me in so I waited for a good 20 minutes. Annoyingly staff could see me me waiting but didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. No apologies- restaurant and bar closed tonight due to wedding. The staff were busy which is understandable but so totally disinterested in my stay that it bordered on rude. I think the least a hotel can do is advise guests in advance if the restaurant and bar are going to be closed. My room opened out onto the car park and smoking area which was noisy. All in all not the most pleasant stay. Will be looking elsewhere for my next stay here

Average…

Booked during the visit of a colleague from abroad on the basis of the Marriott chain being of good standard in other countries. Hotel is tired in and out, discoloured paint, dated furniture, dull upholstery / 90s vibe throughout. Amenities not great, Wi-Fi apparently was chargeable and air con unit noisy / slow. Advertised with gym and pool which apparently closed in peak COVID and never reopened. Positioning is good and ample parking, staff were friendly too. Disappointing.
