Having never been to Staithes we relied on previous reviews to decide where to stay and must say that they were all spot on. Great communication from Andrew, the owner, who pointed out local attractions before we had even arrived and it was great to receive a warm welcome on arrival. Super clean, comfortable bed and good views from the top floor made our stay perfect. Andrew is a passionate owner who is proud of his business and the local community and this becomes apparent from checking in and continues right through till leaving. The quality of the breakfast is superb with locally smoked kippers/salmon and really good fresh eggs. Many thanks for looking after us Andrew and we wish you every success with the museum and preserving the important history of such a wonderful village.

Sunday lunch stop in the beer garden

Reviewed By The3kings2015

Stopped here for lunch after a visit round Staithes. Food was excellent, and we sat in the beer garden at the back, although dogs are allowed inside, we opted for the quite concrete beer garden/courtyard. Fish and chips - excellent as was the crab sandwich with chips. Washed down with good wine and cider. Sorted for a Sunday lunch.

Dotty's Coastal Retreat B&B

Dotty's Coastal Retreat is situated on the high street above Dotty's Tearoom in the ♥ of the gorgeous fishing village of Staithes. There are 2 comfortable double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and showers. Both rooms are situated in the spacious attic rooms with skylight views of the sea. Guests also have the use of a large shared guest lounge with comfortable leather sofas, dining area and smart television. The B&B rooms are no good for anyone with poor mobility as the accomodation is arranged over 2 floors and there are steps up to the entrance. Tea/coffee making facilities are available & bottled water and bicuits. Breakfast is included and will be served downstairs in Dottys Tearoom, the breakfast menu will run from 9 - 10am and the menu will be Tea or Coffee, Fresh Orange, Choice of Cereals, Toast and either a bacon sandwich or smashed avacodo with tomatoes (with or without bacon) on toasted sourdough or toasted teacake or crumpets. These are the breakfast options off our tearoom menu. We charge £100 a night per room including breakfast, minimum 2 nights booking and sadly we do not allow dogs in the B&B. The rooms would be perfect for anyone with a pet allergy as they have never had any dogs in and are immaculate.

This place is amazing. The host is super special and can't do enough for you. On arrival trudie treated us to a up of coffee in the tearoom before showing us to our room. The lounge is spacious 2 super huge sofas and large dining table, beautifully decorated and attention to detail with furnishings shines through, great taste!.Stunning kitchen and toilet (These are shared with other guests.) The bedroom was so tasteful and comfortable with a rooftop Seaview. Bathroom well equipped with a shower. Our whole stay here was special, spotlessly clean and treats in the fridge. Breakfast was beautiful both mornings with lovely staff. Thankyou Trudie ♥️

Staithes Cottages

Spotless, spacious, stunning views

Stayed for a short break with my mum and my dog. Fantastic layout with so much space which is such a bonus in Staithes. Welcome bottle of Prosecco and chocolates was such a lovely touch. Easy to access as you can easily park and unload nearby. The dining area and balcony are a lovely addition to the property and we even managed to sit out in the sun for a while in February. Having two living rooms and two bathrooms was wonderful. We only used the main living room but would be great for families. Two minutes walk to the George pub and Dotty’s, which is a bonus! The sumptuous sofa’s in the living room are lush. The small but well equipped kitchen had everything you needed. Everywhere was absolutely spotless! We will be back as we had such a lovely stay in this welcoming house. Host Bianca was a pleasure to deal with and gave relevant information in an easy format. Thanks we will be back soon.
